[KIMBERLY] The house was filled with both invited and uninvited guests. The birthday party finished before midnight and everyone drifted back to their destination but you see those “uninvited ones?”, they didn’t leave. I sighed putting the last cabbage in the fridge as the words of Andrea lingered in my mind. FLASH BACK “Are you chasing me out because you feel guilty? Or you are tired of having me around?” she cried out when i did not respond to her question.

I tried to listen and shimmy my way in the middle of the convo here and there. With a wide smile on my face as I was filling in my second glass of wine, I heard the clinking sound of the door opening. It was all hunky dori until my eyes met with the new guests. And that was the moment I knew that my luck never lasts for more than ten fucking seconds. There will always be an unwelcome guest in a perfectly happy wedding who ruins everything. Neil suddenly raised his glass and gave a toast aloud, "To the best double date ever!"

Chapter 8 The Uninvited Guest The chaos that erupted on the Wolfe lawn was a symphony of shattered expectations. Guests who had been sipping vintage champagne turned in unison, their faces masks of shock as they witnessed the "perfect" Alpha heir dripping wet in the fountain while a woman they barely recognized stood over him like a vengeful goddess.

Close enough that his wolf wanted to jump out in the next minute. 'will I recognize her in this crowd? Is this truly happening or is the moon goddess playing tricks on me'? So many thoughts filled up his mind as he kept moving upstairs. While walking up the stairs, a lady slipped and just when she thought she was going to fall down the stairs, Urian caught her just in time. He looked at her, wondering why a woman would be so clumsy but as soon as the hood from her cloak fell off and he saw her eyes, his eyes opened wide.

Aren’t the guests supposed to bring us presents? Thankfully, the ladies made most of the decisions themselves, taking my unintelligible grunts as agreement with their choices. If someone were to ask me what we’d picked, I couldn’t tell them. We were now three hours in to this planning session and I was fighting a migraine. No wonder Kat was so exhausted yesterday. Just as I was about to fake some kind of emergency to excuse myself, Gwen and a few omegas came out and began loading the patio tables with all kinds of food and cake samples. Finally, the good part!

I didn't know whether to knock or just push the door and go in. While I stood there contemplating, Sarah finally caught up to me, whispering, "Bella, if I were you, I wouldn't do anything stupid. Clearly, they have an important guest. It could be the Alpha of another pack. It would be quite stupid of you to go in there and cause a scene, especially since Alpha Mark doesn't like you very much." "I guess you're right, Sarah." Just as I nodded my head in agreement, the door to the mansion suddenly swung open, revealing the lively atmosphere inside. Laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses echoed through the hall. My heart sank as I hesitated at the entrance.
