Perhaps someone who seemed a bit out of place?” She tapped a thoughtful finger to her lips. “If I saw a real elf, I certainly wouldn’t still be here! I’d be on the back of his horse,” she giggled. Cassius just nodded, his expression placid. “We get mysterious types often enough,” she continued with a vague wave. “But… oh! There are rumors.” She leaned in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “They say Princess Thalia has fallen from the King’s grace. Some terrible mistake.”

The line of high queens and kings on the fae. “That is an old book,” Dimitri told her as he sat down in the chair beside her. “This Queen lost her light in the twenty-ninth year of her reign. Went mad the poor thing, the unseelie took her in, but she went bat shit crazy. Started to do things that no one wanted to know about.” Rayne told him with a frown. Then turned a few more pages. “Oh my yes, King Neltitte lost his wife in childbirth. A year later, he lost his light. He went mad. So insane that even the unseelie didn’t want him. We had to lock him away in a castle in the mountains. People still get mixed up there. Rumors still come down from up there that his catches people to string up s

His thoughts were interrupted by Scorpion, but his eyes remained fixed outside. "We are not in the palace yet, and you are already being formal?" He sounded grim. "Whether or not we are there, certainty still holds, and am forever loyal to you". It was at that moment that he turned to face him and Scorpion's eyes went down after they beheld his. He didn't dare look at him, for the man he stood before was The prince, Nolan Armstrong I. He was back to himself, tọ his authoritative self. How? He used just one night to transform into the powerful man he used to be. The man that nobody was able to predict. What happened between him and the Royal ladies? Why did he suddenly change? Wait! Her heartbeat slowed, but the memory of his crimson gaze refused to leave her mind. The Dark Prince—Kael—was real. He wasn’t a threat from a storybook or a nightmare. He had found her.

I mutter, watching fresh blood trail down my leg, dribbling onto the rock. They call him the Immortal Prince. The one I think is up here, I mean. Naturally, when creatures as immortal as the pureblood's, who remain unseen to us commoner's eyes exist, legends are created. The Immortal Prince...Well, his are dark, and cruel. If I had common sense, I wouldn't be up here. Then again, if I had common sense, I wouldn't have slipped into a magical pool and turned myself mortal. “I never said I was a good person…” I hear Eyla say from the cusp of attention.

Willix walked into the library with a grim look on his face and let us know that the mansion was secure and the girls were safe. “ My King do you know what or who is coming yet?” Willix asked my mate and Selwyn shook his head no. He told Willix what I had told him and then he decided we should wait in the main hall for the new comer. They were getting closer and we wanted to show a united front. Soon we would need to gather others as guards for the mansion and make the mansion more of a working palace. As w

The auburn-haired being shook his head, his gold glowing eyes met the Queen’s angry glare before turning to look at his King, he looked back down his shoulders dropping. “So it shall be,” The Unseelie King said holding his hand out to his counterpart, his midnight eyes meeting her ever-changing eyes. Their hands met, and a circle formed around the four creatures. Bright white sparkles seemed to dance along their skin as Lu let out a pain-filled wail. Mushrooms and flowers sprouted in the soft earth around them as a magical wind-whipped painfully against their skin. Suddenly the wind stopped and in the center of the circle where the creatures once stood, an oak puzzle box covered in runes sat

Heaving out a growl he said, “Marcin is the Unseelie king and says that you're to be his queen. I guess Autumn told him that her first female offspring would be given to him for his bride.” Gasping in disgust I huffed, “This isn't the middle ages! How ridiculous!” “It could be the reason why your mom left you for the humans to raise,” Faro stated and I frowned.

With those words, he turned around and signaled for his men to retreat. Xavier knew him enough to know he meant every word. "Why, Ulysses?" The High Priestess asked adamantly. "Because the Angel of Darkness is the only creature who could bring my son, my only heir, back from the dead with the Druid's powers. I would do anything to make that happen.
