Veil Of A Secret Vow

Veil Of A Secret Vow

The firelight flickered across the room while silence wrapped around them again. Not awkward silence. Intimate silence. The kind shared only between two people who already understood each other without words. Then quietly..... very quietly..... Zevarion whispered against her forehead, “I don’t think I know how to let you go anymore.” The words settled directly into her heart. And for the first time...... Elyra realized she didn’t want him to let go either.

The Mafia-Billionaire's Hated Wife

The Mafia-Billionaire's Hated Wife

"With this hand, I will multiply your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your lethal wine. Her heart thudded, How strange and scary, Did he just say the wrong vow? And are the people here deaf not to hear the wicked vows? "With this candle, I will dim your way in the light" He added as he impassively blew off the candle flame, It was the opposite vow. How could a groom vow to dim his bride's way to light and the whole assemblage silent like it's the most normal thing on earth? "With this ring, I bind you to eternal doom" he added and propelled her finger into the silver wedding ring violently.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

But the uncertainty in his eyes was unmistakable. Just as he finished speaking, a cold gust swept through the room, extinguishing every candle. They were plunged into darkness, and Sophia gripped Ethan’s arm as a sense of dread settled over them. In that silence, a voice echoed—soft, sorrowful, as if centuries of loneliness were poured into each word. "Complete the vow... and you will be free." They turned, but the room was empty. The voice had dissolved back into the silence as if it had never been there. Sophia's voice was barely a whisper. "The vow? What vow?"

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

Eclipsed Hearts: The Chronicle of Shadows and Stars

“By shadow and vow, I swear silence.” Isolde hesitated. She had not been asked to join, yet she stepped forward anyway, her voice trembling. “By healing and truth, I swear silence. For your sake—and ours.” The pact was sealed. The chamber seemed to exhale, though the storm outside only grew fiercer. But as the blood sank into the stone, Maelis’s voice drifted through the doorway. The seer had returned, eyes clouded with visions, her staff tapping against the floor. “Fools,” she murmured, her voice both far and near. “You think silence will shield you? Secrets do not remain buried—they only rot. And rot spreads.”

Kiss me 2.1

Kiss me 2.1

The words catch, hesitate, then burst forth, broken by tears: — I choose to walk with him, in faith and in love. Then, the brother joins our hands. His fragile fingers trace the sign of the cross above us. His eyes close for an instant, as if to seal a silent prayer. — May these betrothal vows be the seal of your covenant. Not in secrecy, but in light. Silence falls again. But it is no longer the heavy silence of nights of waiting, nor that of stifled secrets. It is a vast silence, inhabited, a silence that breathes with us.

Mated To My Ex’s Stepbrother, The Alpha

Mated To My Ex’s Stepbrother, The Alpha

The silver cord lay coiled neatly on the altar, waiting. Waiting to bind him. Waiting to erase me. The realization hit me with sudden, suffocating clarity. If Damon spoke those vows tomorrow, if he accepted the cord and sealed it before the Goddess, the bond I felt, however strained, however denied, would be forced into silence. Not faded, silenced. There was a difference. Fading was natural… it implied weakness, distance, mutual release but silence on the other hand was violent. It meant the ritual would override whatever truth lay beneath.

Mated To The Alpha

Mated To The Alpha

He bent down slightly to whisper into her ear. “I’ve loved you since the moment I realized silence was your sword, not your weakness.” She blinked back tears, her lips trembling in a rare smile. The crowd fell silent as the priest began the ceremony, invoking the Moon Goddess to bless their union. Traditional vows were exchanged—each word laced with sincerity. But it was when Viktor spoke his personal vow that the entire gathering stilled.

Switching Vows

Switching Vows

"Don't even get me started. He's just a boring bookworm. Everything about him annoys me.” "Do you know what happened on our wedding day? He didn't say a single word, and he thought he could touch me then at night? Dream on!" I was shocked. "So, you two never…" "Exactly!" Sadie said, lifting her chin with pride. "A woman's body and mind must align to feel joy. Otherwise, how are we any different from animals?" At the time, I did not know she had forced Quinn to live like a monk his entire life.

The Echo of a Broken Vow

The Echo of a Broken Vow

With a soft clink, two dull platinum wedding bands tumbled out. Inside the bands, our initials were still engraved. At that moment, every last bit of strength drained from my body. I lifted a hand to cover my eyes and sobbed. The fifteen-year-old Pierse had made his promise with a heart full of certainty. And the fifteen-year-old Eva was simply happy to believe that the two of them would grow old together. Back then, neither of us knew the truth. When the fifteen-year-old Pierse made that promise, those very words came back like a bullet—hitting the twenty-eight-year-old Pierse right between the eyes.

The True Luna's Mark

The True Luna's Mark

I moved off the bench and knelt on the ground to force him to look at me. He stared at me with an intensity that made it feel as if goosebumps were forming over my skin. I wasn’t sure if they were good or bad or if it was simply because I was eager to know. Finally, he sighed, and I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth and waited for him to say something. “I was sworn to secrecy, and if he finds out I let it slip, it could get me in a lot of trouble.” “I vow on the Goddess that I will not tell him you told me anything!” Even if I wasn’t a werewolf, I shouldn’t have vowed upon the Goddesses name, as I was now bound by the Vow.

I am so in love with this book! The story is very well written and the characters are highly developed. What I have been enjoying the most about this story, is for everything that is happened Stormie, she still continues to survive, grow, be independent, finds her weaknesses and strengthens them.
