Kaelen commanded. The Shadow-Guards fanned out, their shields overlapping. From the alleyways, the Grey-Walkers drifted out in silence. They didn't use swords; they lunged with fingers that looked like sharpened quills. I watched in horror as a Shadow-Guard to my left was touched by a Grey-Walker’s shroud. He didn't bleed. He simply turned grey. His armor, his horse, and his face faded into a dull, charcoal sketch before dissolving into a pile of fine ash.

"Swoosh!" Outside the forest, a white radiance flashed across. "Sizzle!" The light penetrated the head of a manlike monster. Xiao Chen slightly frowned. He could not remember that including this one, how many Walking Corpses he had killed. "Plop!" The Walking Corpse fell into the muddy water next to the road and made a few meters high splashes. Xiao Chen saw that the skin all over the Walking Corpse's body was dark gray and full of fine black hairs. It must have been staying there for a hundred years, but it just had 20 or 30 years of Malicious Grudge. That was why Xiao Chen could kill him easily.

Jane Ann said putting her phone down on the side table beside her in disgusted disbelief. “Like being mislabelled as werewolves? Or skinwalkers?” Neither of which their species was. Those were something completely different and rather insulting. The werewolf and skinwalker were more closely related to each other than to a wolf shifter. Though any wolf shifter knew there were differences. “I know Bart said something about people were working on it or laying the ground work for this. I think he said something about them working on it for years at all levels of government.” Grace remembered a conversation she has with Bart where he tried to cryptically explain his situation to her.

Rhett grumbled as the vampire stood back from his work and returned the marker to Heath who immediately began erasing the diagram, a muscle ticking in the corner of his jaw. “What?” Aislen demanded. Heath erased Werewolf with the line through it and re-wrote Werewolf with a circle around it. “Ah, f-k,” she picked up on Cameron’s thought. The names in Talen’s diagrams were not cities and towns – they were werewolf packs. “F-k,” she repeated. “Yep,” Rhett agreed. “Pretty much dead on there, Aislen.” “Why?” Heath wondered, speaking to himself as he looked up at the circled word. “Why would the packs be involved in illegal logging?”

Vincent's wound wasn't critical. By the next day, he was awake. "Thanks for saving me." Despite everything, seeing him hurt because of me left a strange weight in my chest. "This is what I owe you," he murmured. "I've thought it through. I won't bother you anymore." I froze. He let out a bitter laugh. "Losing just a little blood made me cold, dizzy... I thought I was gonna die. Only then did I get it—what I put you through. I stole your blood. I deserve to die..."

“Archon, actually, I’ve been thinking if I…if it won't be an issue…” He trailed off when he saw her eyes boring into him. “Speak up, we don’t have all day to waste.” Valencia admonished him. Thus, he blurted out, “I…I wanted to go outside Grawd for an evening.” “Outside Grawd?” Grawd was the human city closest to the Scrigis empire. Most werewolves would go to Grawd city that was bustling with fun and frolic and had every sort of entertainment possible.

The atmosphere is tense because we are all trying to come up with a solution to the crisis and judging from Tiana's stink-eye she's giving me at the moment, I can tell we have a long way to go. "Someone is trying to send a message with those bodies and we can all tell it is not going to be a good one." Cedric walked towards a large sculpted mahogany bear he made a month ago after Kate died. I jerked off when the other military wagon behind us is currently shooting those people with a body of a dead. I wanted to scream loudly but instead, I felt the impulses of vomiting surging from my stomach. Gross to think, but I badly needed to eject and puke this out in my mouth after noticing some people walking with an enormous crater in their womb, and others are surely having a great time screwing their eyes out. Oh, fuck! "People who got saturated with the rain earlier will become like that. We called them walkers and they're already undead. Zombies, they say. And if you got bitten by them, foresee that you'll gonna be one of them in less than an hour."

And then there they are, the zombies, walking around, some were alone, some were packed together, with their heads moving right and left, as if searching for something, probably searching for their prey. Unlike those zombies we see on movie screens, these zombies are not walking dead. They have wounds and horrible faces, but they are not dead and pale, they still have colors in their body. If you look at their wounds closely, they got their wounds because of their aggressiveness when they were still not turned into zombies, and some wounds are as if because they got into a fight. If you will take a closer look and diagnosis at them, you'll see that they are not walking deads like those zombi
