Her eyes were brown and big. “Who are you, and what are you doing at the border of my pack?” The woman asked with irritation in her voice. The hunter-wolf leader also shifted to his wolf. “I am from northern Wolf County, and I am here in search of a member of my pack,” the leader responded after wearing back his torn clothes as a result of the forced shift he had the other time.

The lady who seemed to be the leader, spoke. “And what do you want?” I asked, with a shaky voice. “I want you dead. And if your friends love you that much, she can follow you to the afterlife.” The lady replied as her claws came out smoothly. She was a wolf, and her scent was a bit familiar. In fact, their scent was familiar, but I couldn’t make out who they were exactly. “Why would you want me dead?” I managed to make my voice loud and clear. “Because you deserve to die. A murderer like you is a terror that needs to die down. Girls, are you ready?” The lady asked the other females.

I whisper conspiratorially. “Poor dear.” The human raises her eyebrows, cracking her caked-on foundation. “She sees wolves, you say?” “Hm. Werewolves. She’s really unwell and I need to find her. Was she with a young woman? Blonde, about this high.” I hold my hand up to the middle of my chest. “Big grey eyes. Really pretty.” “She was kind of pretty I suppose,” the human says with a sour expression on her face. “You know…the pretty in the right kind of light sort.”
