They crashed into the wraiths like a black wave, tearing and rending. But wraiths weren't like normal enemies. They reformed almost instantly, their torn pieces pulling back together like liquid. Axel's flames had more effect. The wraiths recoiled from the fire, screeching in voices that hurt to hear. Willow and Walter fought back-to-back, their weapons moving in perfect coordination. Then something even worse happened. As the city's power grid and water system collapsed, the lights in the penthouse flickered a few times before going out. "Why is the power out?" Jessica ran to the kitchen in a panic and turned on the faucet.

"Ravi, wake up. I'm here." Ravi struggled to open his heavy eyelids, and the first thing he saw was a dark shadow behind Raymond, partially obscuring the light entering his vision. He blinked slowly, realizing it wasn't just a shadow but a pair of black wings stretching out behind Raymond. The black wings enveloped them both as if shielding them from the frightening specter that had just emerged in his mind. "Ravi, it's me." Raymond pressed a kiss to the bridge of his nose as Ravi remained unresponsive.

More and more vampires and demons are leaking through the crack we made in it every day.” Aurora cried regretfully into her hands. “And, consequently, our magic is broken. We cannot cast powerful spells at the moment, so casting your locator spell will be difficult at best.” The coven mother explained.
