So Much for Childfree Love

So Much for Childfree Love

Valentine's Day. I was stuck on ER duty at Brighton City Hospital. Theodore Madoff, who was supposed to be working late, strolled in carrying his student—Cecilia Kuntzer. She had red marks everywhere and that smug little smirk. "Relax, Mrs. Madoff. Just stomach pain. Lucky me, Prof. Madoff rushed me here." Theo pushed me to treat her. Turns out? She was pregnant. From rough intercourse. And the dad? Theo. My husband. The same guy who'd sworn off kids with me for ten years. Felt like a punch to the gut. But I still saved her baby. Next day, she uploaded a video—ID in hand, cheesy PowerPoint, accusing me of malpractice. Claimed I killed her kid. Then Theo asked for a divorce. Priscilla—his mom—stormed the hospital, shrieking about her dead grandbaby. She brought a mob. All these "righteous" strangers who stabbed me to death. Right there in the ER. I died with my eyes wide open. Then—bam—I woke up. Valentine's Day. Again.

When A Deadbeat Meets A Merman Villain

When A Deadbeat Meets A Merman Villain

When I learned that the villain was a merman who dropped pearls whenever he cried, I took out the discarded pregnancy test stick from the trash can and headed toward the rooftop. "Well, how many babies do you merfolk have in one pregnancy? Do they eat fish food or baby formula?" Theo Atwater, who was attempting suicide, slipped and almost fell from the 18th floor. I shook my head with a sigh. "Forget it. I'll just throw the baby into the sea after giving birth." Later, when the baby was born, Theo was too scared to sleep, fearing that I would release the baby into the sea. When the female lead, Melody Carlisle, and the male lead, Reagan York, were arguing and came to see us, he was looking at our baby’s swimming results and roaring, "You're one of us merfolk. How could you be afraid of water?"

My Deceptive Heart

My Deceptive Heart

When Elyssa's mom married Greg Almendarez - a wealthy businessman who lifted them from modest means into a world of luxury, their lives were irrevocably changed. But that glamour came with a shock she never saw coming: Theo, her new stepbrother - furious, arrogant, and spoiled who hated her for a reason she could never fathom. Their constant bickering ignited the moment they moved into the sprawling mansion. He teased her, mocked her, seized every chance to make her feel small, yet beneath every cutting word, a current of attraction pulled them so fiercely neither could look away. She'd catch fleeting glimpses of his muscular frame as he lifted weights or swam, each accidental view sparking a flutter of desire she quickly suppressed. Theo, in return, watched her from afar, his gaze lingering on how her loose clothes draped over her curvy body, finding her impossibly alluring. One night, a misunderstanding sent him into a rage; he burst into her room unannounced and froze when he saw her naked. The image burned into his memory, haunting his dreams and awakening a desire too intense to deny. The next time they fought, Theo's annoyance curdled into something else. Instead of lashing out, he pulled her close and drastically kissed her leaving her stunned. Then came the night when trust and passion collided, and she gave her virginity to the man she'd once hated above all others. Can they resist their feelings and attraction knowing they're stepsiblings? Can they hold back their lust and longing? And what happens if their parents find out? Will they fight for this forbidden pull, or surrender their hearts to spare their parents from hurt and pain?

I am in love with this book! I am hoping that Kyle will increase his powers with his mate so that he can kick that evil witch in the butt.(Without spoiling the read). I think that a little more steam is needed. The steam that we did get was top-notch.

Marrying a Monster by Choice

Marrying a Monster by Choice

I'm back to that night I was drugged with an aphrodisiac. My sister, Rosa Spencer, drags the most aggressive guy in the village, Theo Dawson, into the woods without hesitation. In my previous life, both Rosa and I had been drugged at the same time. She jumped at the chance to be with the promising young intellectual, Dexter Newman, and I was stuck with Theo. After what happened, Dexter took responsibility without a second thought. He threw a huge wedding in the village and married Rosa. Meanwhile, I ended up marrying Theo in a rush, with nothing but a tattered quilt. Seeing this, Rosa burst into laughter. "You were born unlucky, and you'll never beat me! My husband's going to college. His future's limitless!" Yet, to my surprise, Theo changed completely after we married. He spoiled me endlessly and even became the richest man in the state. Dexter, on the other hand, failed his college entrance exam due to cheating and could only make a living by doing odd jobs. After seeing me become the wife of the richest man in the state, Rosa suddenly ran to my house in tears. "My husband's a total loser. Years have gone by, and we can't even afford a decent apartment!" Out of sisterly sympathy, I landed her a well-paying job. But when she came to thank me, she smashed a whiskey bottle over my head. "We're sisters! How come you get to live better than me?" When I opened my eyes again, I was back to that very night Rosa and I were both drugged with an aphrodisiac.
