When the last person left the class, I turned to stare at Professor Markiavelli, who was sitting with his head bowed, his hands gripping too hard at the sides of his desk. “Excuse me sir?” I called out, making my way towards him, my heart in my throat. “I-I’m sorry about earlier, not answering my name when you called.” I said, bowing my head slightly in respect. He was probably only a few years older than me, or maybe he just had incredible skincare, but he was my Professor and that meant I couldn’t treat him like he was a random upperclassman.
