Elsie’s POV He wants me to call him by name only? Without any professor frills? How convenient. I was one of his students, and he was the professor who taught me, so there was a gap. There was no way I could just call him by name. Allowing myself to become too familiar by negating our status would go too far. I should still treat him with respect. "I obviously can't do that prof. You're a teaching professor. It would be rude of me to just call you by name." Is it possible that he feels very familiar with me? I hate the way he smiled that way at me, I mean , it doesn’t suit him because those kind of smiles should be for the younger boys not this middle aged man. Those kind of smiles are perfect on Noah’s lips. I mean guys like Noah.. “ Sir.. please I can’t call you Jack. You are my teacher and I need to give you that respect.” I pout, trying not to show my irritation. “ Then as your teacher.. it is an order to call me by my name.” his voice sterns. I call one more time but the phone rings again and no one picks up the phone one more time. “Please! Please! Just pick up the phone,” I bend my head to reach my hands which are pressed against my forehead. I am praying but none of my prayers are working right now. He doesn’t pick up one more time. “ Miss Esther? Miss Esther?” I hear the voice of the professor. “Yes, sir,” I stand up. “So, you finally hear my voice. Where are you right now? I have been calling you for a long time but now you hear?” he shouts at me. The whole class looks at me with those penetrating eyes of hatred.

" My classmates screamed when they heard what Sir said, as if there was something wrong with it, but instead of siding with the complainants, Sir dropped his cellphone on the table. "I'm still here!" he said. You should respect me since I am your professor! Is that how you always are? You are still higher in position, but you have no respect for others!" he yelled, and the room fell silent. I'm just relieved that this thinking still exists among professors.
