A Second Chance

A Second Chance

He intentionally left his back untouched so he could do this. Thomas makes 25 burn lines, similar to the whip marks on Melina’s back. By the time he’s done, it’s a miracle James is still breathing. “So fucking beautiful,” Thomas beams, admiring his handy work. “I have to say, James, you’re one tough guy. A lot of guys would be dead by now,” Thomas says, and James groans in response. He must be in excruciating pain right now. Good, the best part is almost here, Thomas thought.

A Second Chance

A Second Chance

Caesar sat in the living room and watched himself on TV as he shook the hands of well-wishers and smiled at everyone that came forward to congratulate him. He stared intently at Anastasia's beautiful face on the TV, raised a wineglass to his lips and drank deeply. He hoped he had not just made the biggest mistake of his life. Bryan and his two other best friends —Jacob (Jake) Kingsley, Everett (Evie) Rosenberg — had disappointed looks on their faces, but they congratulated him and smiled at him all the same.

Her Second Life

Her Second Life

She gasped as I filled her completely. I moved steadily. In. Out. In. Out. Slow. Then faster. Harder. Our breaths broke together. Our bodies moved in sync until we both came at the same time. I collapsed beside her, chest rising and falling heavily. Then she suddenly spoke. “Who is Isabella Schneider,” she murmured, voice tired, “and why does it look like I have seen that bracelet somewhere?” My heart almost stopped. I hadn’t realized she would be able to see the laptop screen.

Second Chances

Chapter 6 It was Thanksgiving morning. I struggled to get the Barbie house into my car as I headed over to Beths. I told the girls to come out for a surprise from Mr. Jason. I took out my cell phone and video taped their excitement. They screeched with joy, jumped up and down, and could not contain their excitement. I sent a quick text, Happy Thanksgiving, and then sent the video to Jason. He responded quickly, “Thank you for sending me this. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.”

Second Chances

I hear the sound of something slamming into a wolf and then a yelping cry of pain before silence. Zev takes the chunk of Alrik’s throat and rips it out, causing blood to splatter all over us. It’s not a killing blow, but it’s enough that I turn to see that Asena is still standing guard in front of Cathal and there are two dead wolves at her feet. The third wolf is watching her, but not attacking.

What an ending. Really loved the story. Love between Dimitri and Ayda is soo special as he never compare her to his previous mate. The special bond between Cathal and Ayda is so precious. This story is truly amazing and have a great ending. Sad it is finished but happy with the story line ending.

I VERY, VERY highly recommend this book. It's short, sweet, and doesn't leave any emotional feeling untold. The feelings are raw, heartbreaking, and very heartwarming. You live it. It's rare you get a book that doesn't go in circles or drag on. The author definitely doesn't disappoint. Well done.

The Deal Breaker (Part two)

The Deal Breaker (Part two)

-Yes," Portia replied. -How have you been feeling? -Fine, thank you. James laughed. When they got to the second floor, they went to the door. Portia got in the car, and James on the other side. He demanded that she put on her seat belt. After doing so , Portia began to prattle on about the gift she was bringing her friend Daisy, and that she wanted one for herself as well. James was ready to listen to her. -

A Crazy Kind Of Love; The End

A Crazy Kind Of Love; The End

Tough-Brick straightened his shirt and turned to the driver. "Step on it Dickson." He said, turning to his phone. Paige muffled the cry that was struggling so hard to escape her lips. She wiped off the sweat and little tears in her eyes with the back of her hands. "Mmmmmmm." She struggled to say her mind even with the duct tape across her lips. "Oh, you have something to say, let's hear it." Tough-Brick said and painfully pulled the tape from her mouth. The pain shot Paige through her bones as she pressed her eyes together to stop the tears.
