Think Of Laura Novels & Stories

“What happened? Was it a patient related stuff?” She shook her head in negation. “No, Laura called with an unknown number. She said stuff about how she should have killed Liam that day, and how she would kill our sons. Although, I don't want to dwell on her utterances, I just can't help but fear. We both know her, Al. Laura isn't someone to be underestimated at all. She's an evil psychopath and I'm extremely scared for Liam and Leo. What if we can't protect them this time around?” At that point, her eyes were misty and flowing with tears and she had stopped pacing the room.

CALEB “Who the hell does Laura think she is? Is she even worth standing before a woman like Sarah? You need to send her out of your life as soon as you can.” Silas said as he drove us home. “Laura…” I said with a darkened expression. “Could you believe I called her, it rang and she didn't pick?” “She must be up to something. She might be scheming another plan to carry out. That lady is a sister to the devil.” Silas uttered.

Laura turns her head to the side, and a thoughtful expression graces her face. “The name is escaping me. I know it’s a girl, and she’s super crazy. She would talk to, like, imaginary people, which isn’t that uncommon in here, right?” Laura laughs at her joke, but my stomach churns. “She’s been here for some months now. Pretty much keeps to herself…..what was her name?”

Laura looked a bit down when I mentioned Lucian's name, but it lasted only one brief second before she looked cheerful again. "Oh, come on, Leah. I just want to throw you a party and I'm sure Lucian will understand. Plus, we're just drinking and having some fun. He can't be mad at us girls having fun!" Laura flapped her hands and some of her drink poured onto her dress. "Oh, mine! I'm all wet!" Laura exclaimed. Then, she tittered for a while and said, "Hey! I've just got a brilliant good idea! Do you know what we should do? We should have a white T-shirt contest!"

By the time Laura got back to her suite, she had to struggle to calm her breath. How could I have forgotten it was Jason North I was dealing with? Laura thought. "Mom!" Lisa shouted and ran into Laura's arms, pulling her out of her own thoughts. "Hello, sweetheart, How are you? How were your lessons today?" Laura asked. "It was great, mom," Lisa replied. Laura decided to push all thoughts of Jason out of her mind. She had done what anyone would have done in her situation, she thought.

He reasoned that he didn't want to become snake food. Laura was satisfied. She had plenty of tricks up her sleeve to handle Henry. "Laura, don't you need to learn computer skills?" Henry asked. Without lifting her head, Laura replied coldly, "I kill with hands and brains, not computers." "..." Henry was taken aback. "You don't have to beat around the bush. I know you're a wizard with computers, so spare me," Laura finally threw him a smirk that said, "Playing tricks in front of me? You're still a rookie."

NEXT_DAY Laura sighed, staring into space. She was standing on the balcony, with a cup of tea in one hand and the other placed on the railings. The cool morning air brushed against her face, but she didn't notice. Her mind was elsewhere. The memories of Molly's threat crossed her mind again, and she shot her eyes shut. "If she likes him, then she should tell him. I don't wanna get involved in any drama," she muttered to herself. She walked back into her room and sat on the edge of the bed, feeling a bit frustrated.

“What’s your favorite movie?” Laura is silent for a long moment, her bottom lip between her teeth as she thinks. “I-I don’t know.” She exhales. “I think I liked comedies or drama pieces. Nothing sad or scary.” I offer her a smile. “I don’t like anything scary either.” Her eyes widened in surprise. “Really?” “Hell, yeah.” I nod without an ounce of shame. “Demons and poltergeists are terrifying.” Laura’s throat releases the quietest laugh. “Yeah, they are.”

She said to herself in realization. "But who?" She asked herself. She thought deeply about who would want to sabotage her and her mind came up with an answer. "Lilian? Is she?" She said to herself, wishing the Moon Goddess would just whisper the truth into her ears. But then on second thought, Laura was aware that Lilian had never stepped an inch close to the kitchen. Ever since she became Alpha Kneed's lover, she was pampered and catered for. "She can't be the one!" She concluded as she couldn't connect the dots.

"If talk is all you are going to do, then don't bother following me" Laura kept quiet but fumed inwardly. A thought formed in her mind, an ugly one that she didn't like. who had Caleb really defended? Had it been her ....or... She left her thoughts hanging. she couldn't afford to think further . because the answer might ruin all of her dreams.
