Driving The Alpha' Brothers Crazy

Driving The Alpha' Brothers Crazy

Theo said. "Win the race before she catches up." The garage was quiet for a moment. "That's either brilliant or completely insane," Theo said. "It's both," Adrian said. "She does that." "Thank you," I said. "That wasn't entirely a compliment." --- The next two hours had the specific quality of time that moves wrong — simultaneously very fast and very slow, the way it does when you're doing something urgent that requires precision and your hands need to be steady and your brain keeps trying to sidebar into panic.

Promises We Made at Seventeen

Promises We Made at Seventeen

(Her POV; His POV briefly near the end) The first real test comes quietly. Not as crisis. Not as invitation. As a new context that doesn’t know what I know—and doesn’t care. It’s an environment shaped by speed. Decisions rewarded for decisiveness, not depth. Language optimized for persuasion rather than precision. People are smart here. Competent. Well-intentioned. And allergic to hesitation. I feel the old reflex rise—the urge to translate, to slow things down, to introduce friction gently so it doesn’t erupt later.

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

Their Regret: I'm Not Your Luna Anymore

His lips were twisted and he was glaring at the two boys that got the star from her. She explained to them about strength and speed and how you use them. Then she clapped her hands once and added, "Another important thing, strength and speed don’t depend on how big or small you are. You can be small and still stop someone bigger than you if you move fast and use your strength well. Similarly, you can be big but if you don't know how to move or use your strength, a smaller person can get past you. That’s why size doesn’t decide who wins. How you move and how you think does, which is directly linked to your speed and strength."

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

Betrayed, I Become The CEO'S Contracted Bride

This one had insulted her precisely, and the precision was interesting. "Those are different things," Mira said. "They're entirely different things." Elara slid a single page across the table. "Most gifted-program children are fast for their age. The age wears off and the speed turns out to have been a head start, not an engine. I don't care about head starts. Sit down or don't." Mira crossed the room and sat, because the page was already turned toward her and her eyes had already started reading it, and stopping now would prove the slow read.

Amala
This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........

I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.

Nyxara Rising

Nyxara Rising

Speed never lied. At three hundred miles an hour, the world peeled away everything unnecessary. There was no room for pretense or sweet-talking, no time for betrayal or half-truths. Excuses had no traction at these speeds; the machine demanded everything, and if you hesitated, it would chew you up and spit you out as just another cautionary tale whispered in the garages of the elite.

HER BILLIONAIRE'S SECOND CHANCE

HER BILLIONAIRE'S SECOND CHANCE

"The one with the lemon and the capers. Elena made it once, and you said it was the only thing that had tasted right in months." I stepped back to let him in. "You're doing the filing thing again." "I can't help it." He set the bags on the counter. "Tell me where things are." So I did, and we moved around the kitchen the way we'd been learning to, without choreography, without bumping into things. He cooked, and I sat on the counter and talked about Kahneman's third chapter, and he asked questions that showed he'd actually read the original text at some point, not just my notes. "When did you read Thinking Fast and Slow?" I asked.

But then I replayed it. Slower. Frame by frame. “There,” I said. Marcus narrowed his eyes. “A delay.” “Yes.” “Barely measurable.” “Yes.” “But it is there.” Adrian stepped closer. “That is not hesitation,” he said. “No.” “It is something else.” Yes. That was what made it different. “They are thinking,” I said. Marcus looked at me. “That is not a problem.” “It is if it interrupts flow,” I replied. Because thinking was not the issue. Timing was.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

A shiver moved through her and gooseflesh broke out across her body. He rocked his hips. Each thrust followed by a slow retreat until just the cockhead remained inside. The words slow slow slow repeated in his mind. “I need to move faster. Like now. You’re so damn tight…”

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........
Mint Mocha
Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.
