Third Person’s Point of view Theo was returning on his horse when he received the news from the messenger. He was riding at breakneck speed. He got word that Heather had mysteriously vanished without a trace and that there had been no evidence of an infiltration. When he examined the paper containing Gaia's words to him, he saw that Heather was suffering from a terrible ailment that was more than simply a cough. Theo was filled with regret. He felt he should have sent even a basic note to the sender. He was terrified that Heather might abandon him for good.

Third Person's POV It's so dark. Why didn't they turn the lights on this time? The pain is unbearable, and he screams as they break his leg. It's been too long since he's eaten or drank anything; his scream comes out broken and airy. Red hot pain shoots through his body as they sink their fangs into his skin and forcefully drink what little blood he has left. He feels his body become even weaker as they drink what little life he has left. Somehow, he knows this time this is it; they'll go too far, and he'll never see her again. A tear rolls down his face, and he screams one last scream for her, screaming her name, “EVELYN!” Nadja screamed as he sat up, gasping for air as he reached for her.
