He was tall even while seated, with sharp cheekbones and hands too elegant for anyone under forty. His hair was dark and perfect. His jacket—expensive, probably custom-tailored—was so out of place in The Morgue it felt like he’d been CGI’d into the scene.

And as we ate, we watched one of Lucy's cartoons again. I'm starting to like these crazy animations. Lucy fell asleep and I took her to her bedroom. She exclaimed while running behind the old man to keep up with him. "M-Miss!" The two maids exchanged glances as they trembled with the thought that something bad might happen to their Lady. Meanwhile, just a floor above them, the old man opened a safe from the uppermost shelf. Anyone would notice how he carefully placed all the books about mana inside that big safe, but he didn't use any keys to open it, somehow it seemed like he had been taking books in and out of the safe. "Here are the books you want." He said, putting down all the books on the table beside the window.

Just as he was about to find someone to ask for the address, a very skinny man with unsightly features approached him. The man was short and skinny, but he wore oversized clothes that even its hem was dragged on the ground. He covered himself so well that he seemed very mysterious. The man leaned over to Caspian, and his eyes twinkled. Then, he sneakily whispered, "Master, do you want some picture books?" "Picture books?" Caspian was shocked. "Tsk. It's a type of drawing… The latest type of picture books with plots." The skinny man opened a gap in his clothes and showed it to Caspian, but he quickly covered it again.

"who?' a gruff voice came from inside. "Sir I came in search of a book. Can you help me out please," he glanced at the counter. There was a brown leather hide book there. he curiously pulled it close. The hide felt smooth to touch. The corners of the book were worn with fingerprints. It was treasured by the owners. He opened up the heavy book cover and read the first page. It was about alchemy. Something he had no clue about. He placed it back in the same place. "What do you want?" a short man tottered out. he was just the height of his thighs but was built like a middle-aged man. His beard was as tall as his height. "hey, whatcha looking at?"

He tries to keep a positive attitude. "You're working in Dreamy Stories?" the cute guy said after pon reading their calling cards. "Yes we do," said Hyun. "My girlfriend is a fan of the books you published recently," the cute guy said. Now, it's Hyun's turn to feel the downpour. He rolled his eyes first before saying something. "She's the author," he said pointing to Cela. The cute guy is amazed. He then got a copy of Cela's second book from his bag. He told them that he just purchased the book yesterday and plans on giving it as a surprise gift to his girlfriend today.

She is sure of that. The four of them headed to the restaurant. Her granny is still escorted by the man on her right hand while Alex clasps her left hand. The man's identity is still making Alex curious. She wanted to ask her granny but decided not to. After they were seated, the waiting staff got their orders. They decided to have hotpot tonight. The man doesn't show any sign of awkwardness. He looks so calm being with the three girls despite still not being introduced. "Alex, aren't you going to ask me who this man is?" Granny Isabella finally spoke up.

He was dressed in a blue robe, and he was sitting in a chair, reading a book. "I love to read," I said. "Then, allow me to show you something special," the man said. He stood up and walked over to the shelves. He pulled a book off the shelf and handed it to me. The cover was a deep red, and it had gold lettering. It was titled "The Book of Dreams." "This book contains every story ever told," the man said. "Every fairy tale, every myth, every legend. It's all here, waiting for you to read it."

I said wondering when daddy became this boring or Annie might have rubbed off on him. Annie hardly read these kinds of books. “Oh, darling, I've been too focused on human psychology these days and guess what I figured?” He asked genuinely excited, but kept his eyes glued to the words written on the pages of the book. “What?” “I figured books are the only things that have true meaning and hold both truth and lies, life and death… happiness and misery -” he glanced up from his book and at me, before turning back to them. “- A man who reads can rule by learning the art of manipulation,” he said, his smile wicked and wanton.

He walked over, scanning the titles until one caught his attention. “How to Be a Better Man.” He let out a small, dry laugh under his breath. Of course. He pulled it out and stared at the cover for a moment before opening it and flipping through the first few pages. The words were simple. Straightforward. Advice. Steps. Explanations. He tried to read. He really did. But after a few lines, his mind drifted again.
