I almost added my last name and stopped myself, uncertain which century it belonged to. A cannon sounded somewhere beyond the trees, low and furious, the kind of sound that rearranges priorities. Thomas swore under his breath. “British patrol’s moving through from the east,” he said. “We need to relocate. Now.” He did not ask us if we could keep up. He assumed we would. Mercy inclined her head slightly, the smallest signal of assent. Thomas turned to me and offered his hand. I hesitated. Touch felt like commitment, and I was already too deep in something I did not understand. Still, I took it.

Not even blood. “Look, I really don't have time for this,” Thomas barked, his eyes darting from side to side as he gauged his options, trying to find a way to escape. “Severus,” Bernadette whispered, her voice a plea, her eyes scanning his face. She could see the urgency in Thomas’s eyes, the frantic desperation that spoke of a much larger problem. "We're Perseus's friends, and we're just coming from the Serpent Shifters. Athena told us that Perseus came here,” she said to Thomas, trying to soothe him, searching his eyes for a flicker of understanding that Perseus was okay, that all had gone well.

Koa growled quietly towards his british friend. “I know. I’m truly sorry that I even have to ask this of you.” Thomas frowned as his eyes drifted downwards toward the flooring at his feet. “Ahem.” I cleared my throat so that the two males would finally notice Azzie and myself standing in the doorway. Both of them startled while I turned to Azzie. “Talk to Thomas about his brother. Apparently this is something that he will owe me for, so if I were you I would use this opportunity wisely.” She glanced nervously between Thomas and myself. I glared towards the English man who simply gave a quick nod.

"Thanks, professors. I owe you one." Fletcher approached Catherine with a shy smile and said, "Miss Swann, could you do me a favor? Let me know the next time Mr. Theo is in Loxton. It's been a long time since I last saw him. I miss him a lot." Thomas's whereabouts were always mysterious. Many people wanted to look for him. Even Fletcher, as Thomas's student, barely had the chance to see him without being called. Only Catherine was able to make Thomas available on call. So, this was also a request by Fletcher out of selfishness.

"And I would never do that to you. I want you to know that there's more to the world than just Kyle Branson." I looked back at the twins, buying myself time to think. Scarlett had been right all along. Thomas wasn't just being friendly. He had deeper feelings. "I don't know what to say," I admitted finally. "You don't have to say anything." Thomas smiled. "I just wanted you to know where I stand. No pressure, no expectations. Just... a possibility." He glanced at his watch. "I should probably help your mother with lunch. The nurse will be arriving soon to check on the boys."

’ Beatrice chided. ‘You're a curious lad who doesn't worry about asking questions,' Macbeth said to Thomas. ‘The Blue Thunder Foundation will respect that.’ Beatrice felt her face flush in embarrassment. Her acceptance of Thomas’ quirks was at an all time low and Macbeth had quietly chastised Beatrice’s intolerance. ‘I’d rather be watching, Dr Who,' Thomas said openly. ‘And why not?’ Marcus said nodding. ‘That's a great show! But wait until you hear about The Blue Bolt.’

"You're Thomas's friend, and from now on, mine as well. If you need anything, call me." After some polite small talk, Liam excused himself. "I have some things to handle. Sorry, I have to go." "Thanks for your help," Sharon replied. When Liam left, she looked at the silent man beside her. "Thomas, can I ask, where did your friend come from? He's that good and only needs three days. Who is he?" Thomas's eyes seemed to veil themselves in mist. "He's just a little gifted. It's the rankings that are inflated."

Thomas said still on the phone connection with Samson. "Yes same here, I called to give you good news," Samson and and Thomas was glad in his heart when he heard this because he knew that it would have to do with what he had said earlier when he saw he had wanted to fly his family away from the country or city fa away from Lincoln wickedness..

Thomas looked at him and smiled. “You always know my steps.” Thomas said to him and turned front to look at Draco and Killian. “I guess my best friend missed me a lot.” Thomas said as a smile escaped his lips. He walked closer to Draco and noticed the look on Draco’s face was totally unlike him. “Okay, I’m sorry. I never knew you’ll be here too, I would have been faster.” When Thomas said this Draco turned to look at Killian because when Killian was telling him he refused to believe Killian.

As he had no choice but to accept the decree to travel, Thomas came to see James for a very important and specific reason. "You want me to take Emma in?" James almost choked on his tea when his best friend Thomas told him that he wanted to call in a favor. "Are you mad, Thomas. What would a young lady want to do with me? I'm almost your father's age!" Thomas Addle was nonplussed. "You owe me one, James," he said, "And besides, I don't want to leave my younger sister with the farmer and his wife again. She has become too much of a country bumpkin, this one."
