Thorn Crown Novels & Stories

It was a two-handed weapon that looked difficult to wield, but Avril assured me she was proficient at it. Prince Thorn and his mate, Princess Ariana, were with us. Thorn's armour was also made from Phaikón Árgyron. Instead of being mail, it was an intricately designed chest plate. Moonstone accents adorned his gauntlets, greaves, and chest plate, pulsating with magical energy that resonated.

he threatened, and I gulped. My parents came in between because I was not able to say a single word. "Alpha Warren, it's nothing," Dad intervened. "Yes, Alpha, it's just a normal necklace," I said with a smile. "ARE YOU CRAZY? THIS IS NOT JUST A NECKLACE!" Alpha Warren shouted at me. "The rose and the dagger are the Thorn family crest, and only one person is allowed to have it: Aiden," he said, looking at the necklace intently.

He whispers it to him so I don't know exactly what it is. Then we reach a stall where there is different kinds of weapons available. I look at them all, but none suits Rudra. Then one weapon catches my eyes. It is a sword. Actually not a sword, the sword. It's handle has beautiful carving of Swarnalipuram's emblem that is snowy mountains and sea under it in golden white colors. "Oh! it is such a wonderful sword and so sharp. Ouch" I say as test his sharpness which is good. "Are you okay? See what you did." Rudra scolds me as he put handkerchief on my thumb where I made little cut.

He said and chuckled. "No, Obviously No." She said while rolling her eyes. "Now, let me pluck the thorn out of your back." She continued and observed that a large thorn has punctured his back with a large stem and few petals of a dark red rose similar to black shade. "It's okay darlo. The person should not be afraid of thorns if they crave for roses." He said while Irina plucked out the penetrated stem of a rose. He acted to hiss in a pain.

Its design mimicked thorned vines, elegant yet malevolent. “What is this?” I whispered, horror spreading across my face as I stared into the mirror. Xareth's reflection appeared behind me, calm, composed. His breath grazed my ear as he leaned in, his smirk spreading like rot. “It's called the Chain of Thorns. Or the Thorned Binding, if you prefer something more poetic.” His voice was soft. “It looks beautiful, doesn’t it? But the real artistry lies in what you can’t see. Every thorn, invisible to the eye, digs deeper the more you resist... or feel.”

Edwards spat on the floor. Rose gasped, “oh no! I appreciate all you have been through and will pay for your suffering!” He just waved her offer away, “ na lady, it’s what I’m gettin too… the crown heard my tale and of your plight. They let me free to find and stop this darkness from spreading!” “That you are a lady makes it more pressing I find who is responsible “ he adds, “The Queen doesn’t want it destroying the courts, and if the darkness alters England, it won’t be long afore it’s in Scotland too, aye?!”

In his hands, he held a crown. Not gold. Not bone. But dust. Crumbling. Ancient. And filled with power that shouldn’t exist anymore. Liora’s heart stuttered. Because she knew that crown. Not from dreams. But from the forbidden vaults beneath the Sanctuary. It was the Crown of Dust, forged from the ashes of failed gods. Worn only once before, by a king who tried to rewrite death itself. That king’s name? Valen Thorne. And he had died. A thousand years ago. But now, He stood on her land. Alive. Wearing that cursed crown. “Impossible,” Myra whispered.

Rebels, likely. I rise slowly from my throne, fingers brushing the armrests carved with wolf sigils that seem to writhe and shift under my touch. My cursed crown hums against my skull, its fractured metal threads digging deeper into my skin with each passing moment, becoming less ornament and more surgical procedure. The pain is constant now, a low throb that reminds me with every heartbeat of what I've sacrificed for the sake of strength to protect my children.

Each one carried something. A piece of bone. A vial of blood. A scrap of black lace. And one of them—taller than the rest, her veil as long as a train of smoke—stepped forward. In her hands, she held it. The crown. Made of dead rose petals and twisted metal. The thorns still wet with something darker than blood. It pulsed faintly, as though alive. I took a step back. Ethan—or what was left of him—stood behind me. He didn’t say a word.

Selene cuts her hand first, followed by Octavia, Archie, and Dean. The blood mixed and came out of the bowl. Selene twisted her hand, and two identical crowns appeared. The crown is golden with red gemstones on it. It has three thorns coming out of it, but it confused me why there were two. The blood poured on the crown, and I can see the blood entering the gemstones and turning them crimson red. Selene looked at Dean, smiling at him.
