Council—back the fuck or bleed with us!” Thorne snarled glee-battle manic, plate-mail claws extending scythe-curved: “Bleed? We join the slaughter—prove border fang-worth!” His loyal betas surged howling, fangs ripping abomination-throats gore-fountain, one gurgling: “For Thorne—tear void-guts!”

Alpha-king Magnus initiated the discussion to help ease the tension in the atmosphere. “Oh, we are from the Stormclaw clan. The only Clan made of strong Warriors.” Laura answered, proudly. “Ice crest also have strong warriors.” Anita chimed in. “Well, Stormclaw is the clan whose warriors are the strongest.” “You might be right though but Ice crest had the strongest warriors, that's why in so many years, we haven't lost a single war. I bet no one knows Stormclaw exists.” Anita retorted. Watching them, I didn't know which of them was actually more childish and knowing the both of them, none of them would voluntarily end this argument.

Alex led the way, her senses heightened and her resolve unshakable. They found Thorne in a ruined fortress, his presence a palpable darkness that seemed to suffocate the very air around them. He stood surrounded by his minions, his eyes gleaming with malice. "So, the Gaia clan comes to challenge me," Thorne sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "You are fools to think you can stand against my power." Kai stepped forward, his voice steady. "We will not let you aid the rogue werewolves. Your reign of terror ends here."

He looked at me, his gaze softening just a fraction. “My warriors are bored, Winnie,” Thorne said, a small, dark smile touching his lips. “They are biting each other in the tunnels because they have no one else to fight. They miss the taste of iron and the heat of the chase. If you say this is the only way to keep our pups safe, then the Iron Claw will walk through your ghost fire. But hear me now; if we die in that nothingness, if you lose us in the dark, I will haunt you for eternity. I will be the static in your mind that never goes away. I will be the shadow that you can never step out of.”

It felt real. I didn’t do the graceful forms the warriors practiced. I went to the scarred posts. I hit them. I kicked. I let the anger out—Ayla’s old terror, Liliana’s buried rage, my own cold fury. She won’t leave alive. My claws, tipped with Seris’s wolf-strength, tore long gashes in the wood. “Trying to redecorate?” The voice was a smug blade through the morning. Thorne leaned on the fence, dressed all in black, a king surveying his courtyard. A wicked little smile played on his lips.

She says with a snarl. “What about the rest of the pack?” I ask, and she looks down at me. “He will portal his army here. He won’t go within the city.” She tells me and that makes sense. He believes this is where the pups are, so let him think that way. Sitting in the dining hall, the atmosphere is filled with tension as Thorn enters with the 300 warriors from Hell. I stand as he walks towards me. “He is on his way, Luna. These warriors will fight for you.” He says, gesturing to the warriors and huge dark grey dogs beside them.

Rather, it was the Thorn Clan. Their banners which were made of thorned branches encircling a silver moon snapped sharply in the breeze as they reclaimed their ancestral homes. Wolves, both young and old were standing on the charred framework of what Alpha Russell had forced them to surrender months ago. Standing there, I could hear their cries echoing across the valley: “We’ve taken back what was stolen!” The news spread faster than wildfire and so by the time I turned away from the balcony and walked into the great hall, warriors were already gathered in clusters.

But then, a ShadowClan patrol, alerted by the sounds of the fight, arrived as reinforcement. The ShadowClan warriors, known for their stealth and agility, moved like wraiths through the undergrowth, flanking the Crimson Fang and cutting off their escape routes. Their attack was coordinated, not with elaborate plans or pre-arranged signals, but with an intuitive understanding born of shared experience and mutual trust. Rhys, the hotheaded Silvermoon warrior who had previously clashed with Kael, found himself fighting alongside the ShadowClan leader, their movements a ballet of deadly precision. They fought not as rivals but as equals, their combined strength turning the tide of battle.

They were chaos wrapped in flesh, driven by Evander’s iron grip. Theron’s warriors shifted in unison, bones cracking, fur bursting forth in waves of grey, black, and tawny gold. The sound filled the air, primal and raw.
