He pressed his lips together in extreme contemplation but sighed. "Three months and you can't say no to everything. I'm not paying off your garage bills for nothing."

"Okay, we will be watching your every move with him." "Okay, no problem." "But there are three important rules though." "What are they?" "Number one, you can not tell him about this." "I can never do that." "Number two, you must not fall in love with him." "I can never do that also." "And lastly, the most important rule of all. You have the maximum of three months to carry out your job, failure to do so you will be killed and no one will know what happened to you." He said and Lydia froze.

“A rule.” “The three-times rule.” I rolled onto my back. Looking up at him from his lap. His face upside down. The scar through his eyebrow. The jaw I’d kissed from every angle.
