Light & Darkness: Book 1

- she pointed at the guests. At the same time Selene finally looked at their faces. One of the men seemed familiar to her. -"That's the same dark haired guy from the cafe!"- she suddenly realized. The boy also looked at her surprised, but he was clearly pleased with this coincidence. - Let me introduce everyone to you one by one.- Meredith walked slowly towards the guests. First, she approached a woman with shoulder length, brown hair, green eyes, athletic body and medium height.- This is the Head of the Council of Sorceresses, Elisabeth Spelling. She is two thousand one hundred years old, her additional gift is the ability to manipulate emotions. She leads the Council and makes sure that ev

Thorne and Throne

"Hmm Angel, It's nice to here again. I couldn't have you endure this torment again and so I called out to the Goddess. She and other gods trapped him in the form of the Prince. The price was I rest and not look for you and so I did. The Prince came forth essentially blocking the god. However, he was still drawn to find you. He doesn't know the reasons why, but he did and as I was informed made you queen." The man in the robes takes a vial out of his pocket. He pours the contents into a glass. Then bites his wrist dripping his blood into it. "Majesty, That was a vile of your blood I found in your chamber before.... Well you'll see. I've mixed my blood. I've always kept an eye on you at the ma

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

I tell him. "So, you're telling me that some goddess has given me to you?" He asks. I laugh, "When you put it like that, it makes it almost sound heinous. Let me tell you a story so you may better understand,” I say. “Actually, you might recognize the first part of this story,” I tell him. “And why is that?” He questions. “Because the goddess in this story is Alira the same one that the Fires were named after,” I say.

The Midnight Sorceress

The Midnight Sorceress

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

A Crown of Ashes

A Crown of Ashes

Sienna crashed to the marble floor, Roman’s hand jerking her down as glass shattered somewhere in the guts of the estate. Her elbow smashed into the stone, a jolt of pain shooting up her arm, but it got lost in the rush tearing through her. Footsteps pounded closer—fast, hard, stomping from the east side of the house. Too many boots, too much purpose. Her breath hitched, the silver key digging into her palm where she gripped it like a lifeline.

Then he gave a slow nod to his men. He looked at Sergio with unbridled hatred. "This isn't over, not by a long short. I will be back to claim what is mine." One by one, they backed off. Fading into smoke. Into retreat. ************************************************** The silence that followed was deafening. Rosana stood alone in the center of the destroyed hallway, her dress streaked with soot and blood. A shard of broken mirror leaned against the wall nearby, reflecting pieces of her—sharp, splintered, unrecognizable.

The Alpha King's Forbidden Mate

The Alpha King's Forbidden Mate

A second pulse shook the mountain—but this time, it didn’t throw her off balance. This time, it bowed. The throne’s magic slammed into her one final time—ruthless and unfiltered. Her spine arched as visions assaulted her: the founding of the mountain court, the coronation of the first queen, the wars, the betrayals, the fires. And at the center of it all—Serena, standing at the crossroads of history. When she opened her eyes, they glowed white. The throne stopped pulsing. Silence. And then—

I loved this book so much. I had so many emotional moments, laughing, crying, happy, sad and scared. I couldn't put it down. I just wish that Axel had lived and found his own mate and that Thane and Riley were blessed by the goddess and became real mates.

A Tangled Fate: Bound By Her Betas

A Tangled Fate: Bound By Her Betas

I just want to remind everyone, especially those new to the series, that this book is the second in a trilogy and it's primary focus is the romantic relationship between the main characters and the struggles they face to get to their HEA (I promise there will be one). The threat to the wolf species will be addressed in more depth later in this book but will not culminate until book three. And fair warning, while I can promise a HEA for the main characters as far as their relationship is concerned, I cannot promise that all will be well with the Glass Lake pack at the end of this story. I have to leave something enticing for book three. Please keep the comments coming! I value each and every

Frequently Asked Questions

Sarah J. Maas' 'Throne of Glass' series is one of those epic fantasy sagas that feels like a marathon in the best way possible—packed with assassins, magic, and enough political intrigue to keep you glued to the pages. The series officially consists of seven main novels, starting with 'Throne of Glass' in 2012 and concluding with 'Kingdom of Ash' in 2018. But wait, there’s more! If you’re a completionist like me, you’ll also want to dive into the companion novella collection, 'The Assassin’s Blade,' which slots in chronologically before the first book. It’s not strictly necessary, but it adds so much depth to Celaena’s backstory that I’d call it essential reading.

Beyond the core books, the series has spawned a ton of extras—short stories, exclusive content in special editions, and even a coloring book for the creatively inclined. Maas really built a whole universe here, and it’s easy to get lost in it. I remember binge-reading the entire series during a summer vacation, and by the end, I felt weirdly empty, like I’d said goodbye to a group of friends. That’s the mark of a great series, though, right? It’s not just about the number of books but how they make you feel. If you’re counting, though, seven main novels plus 'The Assassin’s Blade' will give you the full, glorious experience.
