His voice was gentle to the extreme, yet it made my skin crawl. "Don't be afraid. I'm here." "Tomorrow, once we enter the secret chamber of the altar, you'll drink the medicine and sleep. Silas said, though his eyes drifted to the small, flickering television in the corner. The news was playing a trailer for a new movie: THE ECLIPSE: A NORTHERN TALE. It was a high-budget horror film, full of jump-scares and monstrous, grey-furred wolves with glowing red eyes. It was a "Reboot" of their lives, turned into a nightmare for a new audience. "They're making us monsters, Silas," Lyra whispered, her blue eyes bright with a sudden, sharp fear. "They're making 'Characters' monsters, Lyra," Silas corrected. "That's not us anymore."

She respected the bubble. "Sometimes," she said, "monsters are scary because we can't see them. But when we put them in the sand... we know where they are." She picked up a shovel. "And when we know where they are... we can dig them up." She dug up the green monster. She put it on top of the sand. "See?" she said. "Just a toy." River stared at the green monster. It looked smaller in the light. He reached out. He touched its teeth. Plastic. Not sharp.

It lasted approximately six minutes before the boys got bored and demanded something scarier. “No horror,” I said firmly. “Just a little spooky,” Eddie begged. I caved and chose The Haunted Lighthouse, a mildly eerie kids’ movie with a ghost dog and a friendly skeleton. Halfway through, Mr. Speedy mysteriously vanished. “Where’s my turtle?” Oliver wailed. Chaos erupted. Pillows flew. Flashlights beamed under furniture. Claire nearly fell off the couch laughing. After ten minutes, we found Mr. Speedy under the coffee table, wedged behind a stack of comic books, casually eating a gummy worm.

My stomach dropped. Then, a sound ripped through the silence, the squeal of some small creature. A rat. I turned just in time to see him tear into it with his bare hands. My body seized in horror as he sank his teeth in, blood dripping down his chin, his lips curling around the metallic taste. His glowing eyes locked onto mine, animalistic, feral, terrifying. I stumbled back, nearly tripping over a root. “Oh my God.” My voice cracked, barely more than a whisper. “You’re a monster really."

Monster got so pissed up and said "How dare you, bring someone into my chamber!" He was so furious and grab Dr. James neck tried to eat him up. Michael bring out a knife from his pocket and threaten to Stab Monster if he tries any shit with Dr James. Monster was so scared of the knife because he knew that the knife might be a big problem to him if his body get touch to it. Monster told Michael that he don't have to threaten him with knife, and besides how did he get into this community? Then Monster face Dr. James and ask him where is Nicholas? Michael smiles and reply Monster that
