The Mark Of Orathyn

The Mark Of Orathyn

"I don't think either of us gets to make decisions today." "Nope!" Theo called over his shoulder. "I've noticed," Pearl said, laughing. They reached the center of the square, where an enormous silver-leaved tree rose high above the rooftops, its branches shimmering in the sunlight. Hundreds of tiny ribbons fluttered from its limbs, each one carrying a handwritten wish. Pearl stepped closer. "People wrote these?" "Not wishes for themselves," the woman said. Pearl looked at her, confused. "For who, then?" "For someone they loved."

Winning Back My Lost Luna!

Winning Back My Lost Luna!

"As you wish." He held out a small woven basket. "I came to return something." I frowned. "I don't remember lending you anything." "You didn't." Confused, I looked inside. Nestled between two folded cloths was a tiny blue ribbon. Worn with age. Frayed at the edges. My breath caught. No... It couldn't be. I picked it up with trembling fingers. Years ago... On the last Harvest Festival before Kael disappeared... I'd tied that very ribbon around his wrist because he'd gotten hopelessly lost trying to find the dancing square.

Black Claw: Bound by Fate

Black Claw: Bound by Fate

The city never stopped trying to erase her, but Elena had made herself permanent, not in memory, but in the persistence of the world’s small, irresistible longing for itself. At last, the children found her old blue ribbon, still bright against the dust, and tied it to the first apple sprout. They called it nothing. They called it enough. They called it hope.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

"And Rowan argued with you every single time." "What did he say?" "He insisted flowers were terrible conversationalists." Thomas laughed. A genuine laugh. "I think I would've disagreed." "You always did." For just a second... it almost felt normal. Almost. Then Thomas looked across the garden. Near the old apple tree stood a young sapling. Much smaller than everything around it. Someone had tied a blue ribbon around its trunk. He walked toward it. Curious. A tiny wooden sign rested at its base. The words were carefully carved.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

She’s The Alpha King

She’s The Alpha King

“Let’s just find that ribbon.” The clue we were given said that the object we needed would be on a tree with something red tied to it. But so far, there were just plain trees. Lots of branches, bark, and dust. Not a single bit of red in sight. I took a few more steps ahead of Elias, peering closely at one tree with a twisted trunk. Still nothing. Suddenly, there was a squeak from the bushes nearby. I stopped walking. “Did you hear that?” I whispered.

Vampire's Call

Vampire's Call

Sarah then started singing the song again, Oh, ancient trees, reaching for the sky, Whispering secrets as the wind blows by. Your roots run deep, your branches spread wide, Guardians of wisdom, standing side by side. I joined her and we sang together while flapping upside down in the stream, our naked bodies being illuminated by the sunlight. Oh, guardians of the ancient trees, Protectors of all that nature sees. With gradient symbols, their message shows, Balancing harmony as- "Can you guys be fast? We don't have all day?!" Theo's voice came from afar.

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

Take Me Back: The Alpha's Regret

After the words were uttered, ex-Gamma Mark's took a red ribbon and bind our wrists together with it. “Woven into this cord, imbued into its very fibers, are all the hopes of your friends and family, and of yourselves, for your new life together. With the fashioning of this knot do I tie all the desires, dreams, love, and happiness wished here in this place to your lives for as long as love shall last. Two entwined in love, bound by commitment and fear, sadness and joy, hardship and victory, anger and reconciliation, all of which bring strength to this union. Hold tight to one another through both good times and bad, and watch as your strength grows.” Oscar stepped forward and removed the re

Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.

I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!

Alpha Reid

Alpha Reid

Mmm… That’s when I spot it- a yellow ribbon tied to a tree across the clearing. I was told to look for a yellow ribbon. My breath catches in my throat and my blood runs cold. That has to be it, and if it is… that means I really have to go through with this. I feel sick. There’s no time to second guess things; no turning back now. I draw a deep breath, looking around one last time to ensure the coast is clear. Then I make a run for it.

Absolutely love and adore the six pack series so far. Alpha Reid is going to be an amazing book. I love the different approach this book takes. CJ is never one to disappoint in how she tells a persons story and this will surely shine through throughout Alpha Reids book. Expect the unexpected .........

Loved Reid's book! Always wondered how different his story would be as he was the mlst perceptive among the five, and I'm not disappointed. Loving the pair with Serena, the Theo to Brooke, the one who challenges him to have fun and let loose. No unnecessary drama! Love your stories and your writing!

Take My Husband, Let Me Marry Yours

Take My Husband, Let Me Marry Yours

We stayed in that hug for a moment longer, just two women holding space for each other, soaking up all the joy and peace around us. She pulled back a little and looked around. “Where are the others?” she asked, scanning the crowd. ************* As the party started to really come alive, with music playing from the speakers, kids running around laughing like they had no care in the world, and adults slowly making their way to the buffet table to grab small chops and drinks, I found myself needing a little moment to just breathe. So I walked over to the oak tree, the one that stood right in the center of the garden like it had been waiting its whole life for this kind of day. We’d tied ribbons

The Billionaire's Runaway Ex-Wife

The Billionaire's Runaway Ex-Wife

They danced joyfully and some crying in deep reverence while others prayed to their deity. An older woman approached and with her weathered hands she extended a red thread to a young girl. The girl who was bursting with excitement ran over to Sia. She explained, “My grandmother wants you to take part in the veneration!” Sia nodded, glancing at Leon. “Come on, let’s do what they are doing. You follow what their husbands are doing!” she urged. Leon hesitated but followed her lead as they joined the other ladies. They ttied the red thread around a sturdy branch of the sacred tree, which was still green despite the deadly winter which killed all the flora around them.
