Time Stop Novels & Stories

**77 : 08 : 21 : 44** Blinked. Rewrote. **69 : 23 : 59 : 59** The numbers jumped violently, tearing away weeks in a heartbeat. Aria’s voice came out thin and high. “Timer jumped again,” she said. “You’re down to weeks now.”

"The countdown on my interface isn't just ticking backward anymore—it’s skipping! Look!" Vikram glanced down at the digital display on his wrist unit while maintaining his stride. The numbers were a chaotic, flickering mess of corrupted code, rapidly flashing through impossible configurations before locking onto a terrifying reality: 13:00:28... 13:00:19... 13:00:11... Time wasn't merely running out; it was collapsing inward, drawing the physical structure of Shimla along with it.

The universe, of course, ignored me. “Onaha!” my boss barked from behind the espresso machine. Mr. Kurt was in his usual state of mild combustion—tie crooked, face flushed, and eyes twitching like he hadn’t slept since 1999. “Where were you? I needed those muffins five minutes ago!” I dropped the trays on the counter with a smirk. “Technically, I was here five minutes ago. Time is just… subjective.” His jaw twitched. “Don’t start with your philosophy nonsense.”

"I disagree with it." "Same face, different word." For one fraction of a second, the corner of his mouth lifted, unscripted and entirely real, before he caught it and smoothed it away. Silas tapped again, three times in quick succession. "Time the dinner ended." "Ten-thirty," Kaelen said. "Time you left the bar." "Close to midnight," Zariel said. "Maybe later. I genuinely lost track." "You don't lose track of time, Miss Thorne. Your agency files show a woman who tracks billable minutes down to the second." Silas's eyes didn't waver. "Try again."

After saying that, Mr. Zayne had a helpless and bitter expression on his face. Elder Maurice let out a long sigh. Mr. Zayne was right, there was no reason to fight at that moment. Time was still ticking away. Not long after that, Master Maurice's loud voice was heard, "Time's up! Everyone can stop now." Everyone, including Fane who was further away, stopped. Fane's lips twitched helplessly as he looked up, worriedly. He looked toward everyone in front of him.

I will gladly take up the argument that two weeks during school session and two weeks during holidays are not the same. The way time went(quite an understatement)...spinned (now we're talking) off fast baffled me. I watch the seconds-hand move, reassuring myself that we weren't in "Spy Kids: All the Time in World" situation--you know, sci-fi has a knuckle for coming true sometimes, like that of Teleportation did, It is now a possible way of transportation developed by Elon Musk.

Garett went over some of the briefings he had to close out for the week though he had time off. He had called into his boss, the lawyer who was a senior partner, and explained the situation and what he hoped to accomplish for the next week or so. Though it wasn’t an easy conversation to have, he knew that he wanted to get it over with and have the time ready to do whatever needed to be done.

September held back the irritation since he knows that he needed to gather all the patience he could have to woo this girl. "Then maybe you have time for lunch?" he insisted. Maeve, losing her patience put down her bag on the leather couch before she took her time to walk towards him. It was a normal stride, however, to September's point of view, Maeve's walk seems to be in slow motion. He can't help but to gasped as he realized once again how deeply infatuated he is with this woman. "You know what Mr. Thorne?" Unconsciously, September gulped multiple times as his gaze fell towards Maeve's cold eyes.

“If you want to get out, listen to me. Give me what I want, and I’ll bring you back. Otherwise…” He snapped his fingers. “Otherwise, what?” She sounded impatient. “Get ready to spend the rest of your life here.” He placed his mouth near her ear. “Right, I forgot to tell you, but when we enter the village of Jave, all time stops. It will be as if we never left Neon.” Her eyes widened at the mention of time stopping, but then he kissed her on the nape of her neck, sucking on it like a vampire. “Just where are we, Nathaniel Underwood?”
