But, suddenly, Seph looked up and saw that the clock on the wall had stopped ticking. The world froze that time, Seph guessed. The students around them stopped moving and the noise outside turned silent as everything seemed to halt. But, Seph saw on his mobile phone’s screen that the seconds and the minutes are changing. So, Seph found out that the world did not freeze. Just that, it slowed down.

“By the way, exactly when are you planning on stopping the document dump?” “As soon as we leave.” “Because all bets are off if even one of those files gets out.” “Then I guess you better let me get out of here, huh?” “You’re cutting it kind of close.” “I have two hours, Mailin. It’ll be fine.” “Did you take into account time zones when you programmed it?” he asks quite seriously. A dawning look of horror spreads across my face. “Oh shit…” “EVE – ” Mailin starts in a panic, and then realizes from my barely suppressed smile that I’m pulling his leg. “SO not cool.”

Scott's expression changed, and he said impatiently, "I'm doing all this for you! If it weren't for me, would you have ever gotten first place?" Tessa's eyes were red as she shouted back, "But did I ever ask you to sacrifice yourself?" Scott fell silent, then let out a long sigh. "Can you stop? There's only one week left. This whole farce is almost over." As for me, I didn't feel hurt at all. After all, Scott and I were just using each other.

Fin POV I took Clementine to a cave when she lost consciousness. I still can't get out of my mind how time stopped earlier. I am not the one who did it and more I can't stop time, no creature can stop time. I look of Clementine who is still unconscious.

“So 2:47 PM helps her. Like it helps us.” _Thump._ Adrian looked at me. I looked at Adrian. 2:47 PM. For 11 seconds. For 588 days. Now for 19 years. “Yes,” Adrian said. “We can tell 2:47 PM. Today. At 2:47 PM. We’ll stop. For Chloe. And we won’t start again until she can stop with us.” _Silence. Car. 11:38 AM._ “Good,” Alex said. Leaned back.

I narrowed my eyes at a brown clock on the table as we made our way outside. "What's this?" I stopped to pick it up. "That's just my time run." He said, receiving the rusty looking clock from me. "Don't touch it, it could be dangerous." "Dangerous, how?" I resumed walking while he led the way. "You see, for three years now, I've been working on a time machine, but that's never happened. No success at all." He began. "Okay?" I raised a questioning eyebrow at him. "But I managed to come up with the time run. It's a reverse clock that takes you to twelve noon the day you use it." He explained even though I was unable to comprehend.

The three of them were still very much in front of me. "What happened?" I remarked, completely confused. "Foolish," they calmly replied. "We knew you would try this. We merely vetoed your power to stop and resume time as you please. We are the ones that control time, not you." I stared at them, unsure of what to do next. If they could simply cancel out my power with their own, what could I even do to stop them? "Now, allow us to end your life quickly so that we may return to undoing the damage that you have caused."

Unexpectedly, the unfinished deed Neela had been wanting to do would be this. However... However, all the latter words could not fall from Alex’s lips. Neela said, “My lord, I’m a little embarrassed. Therefore, I’ll impose another domain of Time Stop on you. In that way, you’ll feel nothing. I will be done with it after you open and close your eyes.” Before Alex could object, Neela unleashed Time Stop. “Ah... Ah... I...”
