Eloise sat frozen, heart aching, eyes brimming with tears. Frantically, she searched her phone for answers, most of them confusing—until one article stood out. She tapped it. A bold heading appeared: “Understanding the Effects of Time Travel.” “This is it,” she whispered, reading on. Time travelers often feel fear and confusion, as if trapped in a vivid dream. That sounded familiar. But the next lines chilled her: “Time travel can offer second chances, but sometimes it becomes a cruel loop—forcing people to relive trauma and loss.”

Until now, strange short stories had only very short stories. But from volume two I intend to add stories that have 10 to 20 captains as well. These stories are not so long nor have so much visibility as a separated book. For this reason, I decided to move all then into strange short stories, that is already a storybook of different themes.

We sat at the very back of the bus so we can sit beside each other. “So, how’s your story so far?” Jake started, “Well I’m halfway through it.” I said kindly and looks at Xander who is looking outside the window not listening to us. “Can you tell me the story?” So, I told him how the story goes, I’m surprised he listened all throughout of it, “So will Cassiopeia die?” he asked curiously, and I looked at the window and noticed that we’re almost there. “I have to, or the purpose of the story will get ruined, and I’ll get disqualified in the contest.”

Surely there must be something to be found somewhere about why time travel is really possible, and how it works when you try to change something in the past. So many writers have written about time travel, so many philosophers have contemplated it, even scientists have looked into it. There must be at least a grain of truth in it, right? I am now acutely aware of his hand around me, and our skin touching. “All of a sudden?” “Yeah, well. I have been reading a lot of comics in that theme.” He hums nodding. I have almost finished the entire stack of time travel comics he has sitting in his shelf. “It would mean time was flowing, and everything is happening all at once, the past, present and the future. I genuinely believe all we have is today, and the past just crumbles away, and we’re left with just the memories and hope for a tomorrow.”

Along the way, she found herself walking beside Pedro more and more, his quiet strength a balm to her worries. As they crossed rivers and trekked through dense forests, Alice and Pedro began sharing stories of their pasts. Their conversations started innocently enough—Pedro told her about his childhood, his dreams of freedom, and his deep admiration for his father, Ramon. Alice, in turn, shared memories of her life before the time travel, her family, and her longing for peace.

I am not a time traveler, but I am very prone to waking up to other people’s bodies, to a different scenario, to a different timeline. If someone will ask me who I am, my only answer will be…I am someone lost in time.

"Time travel to the past is theoretically possible in certain general relativity spacetime geometries that permit traveling faster than the speed of light, such as cosmic strings, transversal wormholes, and alcubierre drives" she said as the judges were scoring her already. "So what are the ways to travel through time?" Mr. Adams asked. "Through speed, gravity suspended animation, wormholes, and light" she said calmly as the judges murmured something amongst themselves. "Final question, how fast can we travel in space?" The female judge asked, they seemed to enjoy interrogating her.
