Vireya's POV “The magical fairy appeared to you, didn’t she?” I asked, my voice low and trembling. His eyes widened, and for a moment, he forgot how to blink. “You… how did you know?” “Because she came to me too. She told me to take three spider lilies. Just like you.” A sharp silence fell between us. He opened his mouth, then closed it again, the words tangled in his breath. “I… I just…”

Queen Lilith asked Aldmeris, flicking out her tongue. “Her name is Vinix, she seems like a healing fairy based on the essence I picked up. She might be very useful to us.” Aldmeris said, showing her the image of the fairy through a magic crystal ball. “ Vinix,'' you say. Dagon, Mantus, please bring our guests. We have a lot of catching up to do.” Queen Lilith said, as they both teleported out to capture Vinix. Vinix too had troubles sleeping at night wondering what went wrong.

She has funny thoughts, and sometimes, I wish she would say the things she's thinking. I know I embarrass her at times, but it's fun. She's the strongest of everyone here, and when someone like me can make her blush, it makes me giggle. I really like her and hope she becomes my friend once we take the witch down. I have my own plans for Cressida. Most people forget that, as fairies, we can make ourselves giants as well as make ourselves tiny. I can make myself grow to fifteen feet tall. I plan to surprise them with that once the battle begins.

Arianna said sadly. “But why do you want them to get rid of it?” Hannah asked “Because it belongs to my daughter,” Ariana said and paused. “Your daughter? Where’s she? I would love to meet her” Hannah said smiling. “She's dead,” Arianna said and Hannah opened her eyes wide in surprise. “Oh my goodness!! I’m so sorry, I didn’t know you had a daughter. I’m so sorry” Hannah said and Arianna smiled. “You shouldn't apologize, it isn't your fault. Her name was Cinderella McKenzie. She's so beautiful like you. She has your eye colors and everything” Arianna said and sat on the bed in the room.

I made her sit on the chair and gave her a glass of water to help her with her hiccups. Lead and Smile freed Rage, and he was quarrelling with the other fairies. I tried hard to concentrate on consoling Venus, but they were too loud for their tiny size. “Shut it! Right now!” I snapped. “Get back inside or else I will call a cat right here.” I threatened them. Strangely, the fairies, with the strength of dragons, feared cats. All of them entered my veins at once. I placed my hand over Venus’ hand on the table. “Venus… I know all of this is difficult for you. But I am proud of you, you broke free from Zahir’s cage…” I said with a faint smile.

Which was, he told himself, what Hayzel saw as she searched in vain to catch a glimpse of the fairies themselves. Kaleb glanced at Sparkle again. She was smiling, a soft, knowing curve of her mouth that gleamed in her eyes, as well. Again, there was something else in her gaze, too… beyond warmth, even beyond heat, and Kaleb wondered about it while Hayzel spun long, intricate stories about the fairies who lived in the tiny houses in the woods. * * * “Thank you so much, Kaleb. But you really didn’t have to do this,” Sparkle said for the tenth time in a half-hour. “I am sure it wasn’t in your plans for today…”

there were flying crickets in the air, butterflies with various colours printed on their wings, some teeny tiny creatures flying in the air. Those were fairies, little pixies with tiny wings...just like Tinker Bell. Some fairies were giant, others were two feet tall. Some have special shapes like mermaids, human above the waist but with the lower part of their bodies like fishes. They lived in an underwater world of splendour. The fairies there were beautifully delicate. They are thought to help people when they are in a good mood and may harm evil-minded people when they turn angry. They have their fairyland to live in and they do not get out of their land until and unless there is somethin

All of us refuse to look toward the corner. It’s like trying to avoid looking at a black hole. Lionel and I try to talk to the girls. To keep the conversation natural and calm. It’s not easy. “How many types of fairies are there?” Lionel asks inquisitively. As though the girls have not spent the past month chatting our ears off about it. “There’s forest fairies…ocean fairies…river fairies…” Patti listed. “No!” Vera interrupts. “That’s mermaids.”

I see out of her eyes as Vilkas runs towards us and she hisses at him. “Bedelia, you need to get up. You can hate me all you want, but please get up. They need you.” I hear a shriek and we turn our heads to the sound. My eyes widen and I clasp my hands over my mouth as I see a beautiful red and orange phoenix in the sky fighting. Vilkas turns with a small smile on his face. How is this possible? I thought we were the last.
