He stopped and turned to her, "The reason I'm telling you this is that there's a possibility that the cougar will want to mate with you and even though you should not let that happen, I still want you to know the basics you need to know about mating with our other-halves." "Okay, I'm listening." She breathed. "Knotting also happens sometimes during mating, when the animal is in charge." He went on. "What does it mean?"

Then she slapped a hand over her mouth. “Oh my goodness.” The realization hit her immediately. Mating season. It was only a few days away. In all the chaos with Clara, the accusations and Lily’s sudden departure, she had completely forgotten.

she replied, and Maria frowned. “Why is that?” “Because it’s the Mating Season from tomorrow. The teachers and staff will be busy.” Regina gave an evil smile. Maria’s eyes widened. “Oh, I see.” She didn’t say another word and walked away. Regina looked at us. “You two must get prepared, too.” She winked and skipped all the way back to her room, singing, “It’s the Mating Season... I want a big wolf! I want a big wolf!”

-“I hope you have a great day too, Mi Amour, I love you” I told him. I figured it was time to tell him that since neither one of us had said it yet. We had found out that male shifters could get pregnant and deliver pups because we visited Doc the day after we mated to ask those questions. He answered us and told us that if we didn’t want to be parents yet then we needed to use protection once a heat hit. He told us that we would probably switch places with who went into heat because we are both dominant shifters. I already knew that because of Koa.
