It was so dark that they couldn't see what it was eating. The light spooked it, and it ran away, leaving its food behind. Hunter said, "The rats in these mountains are pretty big. They're almost the size of cats, but they're all too cowardly to do anything to human beings." Grayson didn't reply. He just looked at Hunter again. Even though one could argue that those who knew nothing feared nothing, normal kids would never have dared to enter that tomb alone. The two of them walked forward a bit more when Hunter suddenly stopped Grayson and put his finger to his mouth in a shushing motion. He also indicated for Grayson to turn his lamp off.

"And then there's the tiger." My brows creasing. "A rat and a tiger?" He nods. "The rats are the ones who are easy to get. In the animal kingdom, rats are the ones who are the easiest to capture. Set out a mouse trap, put a big delicious cheese on it then voila. Rat is captured. Easy peasy" He says. I chuckle. "The mouse trap is my body and the cheese is my--" "Okay stop. I get it." I cut him off.

Mia asked, blinking. The small grey creature sat there, staring at them like they were the intruders. It held a piece of crust in its tiny hands. Chewed. Blinked. Continued eating. Daniel snorted. “Well, he’s got good taste.” Axel sighed and crossed the room, grabbing a plastic container and nudging the rat into it. “Relax, it’s just a field rat. They wander in sometimes when there’s food left out.” Lauren climbed down dramatically. “I almost died. Do you know what a rat can do to a woman in her prime?”

The contained animal has to be placed in the center, the stone plate on the left, and the mana stones on the right! I decided to not make things risky and used a dozen of mana stones that I got from “Big rat” monsters. As the name suggests, the big rats are rats…but big…the size of a two-year-old sheep! They are obviously stronger than the sheep…and definitely stronger than a mere human! They can use earth magic to dig tunnels and they mainly use a skill called [Deadly fang] and [Double Scratch] to attack… They are monsters that are close to rabbits… so if this might work…right?

The sound, the recent quake, and the smell of blood attracted the rats again, they left their burrows with bloodshot eyes and madly dashed towards the injured monsters. “Fuck! Rhino 4 and Rhino 5 help your brothers! Beenedict get out of the cave and finish the lizard with Skeletor! All the tunneling worms attack the rats with all you got! Earl and Rhino 10 prepare to attack if things go south!” He was starting to get nervous, biting his virtual nail as the rats neared Rhino 3, but the tunneling worms managed to gobble up the fastest ones, then, he hastily moved them to attackers.

"Doctor, the rats have grown larger since you feed them upon the mountainous corpse at the mountains." the shorter one in a cloak says. "But of course, every one of us has a role to play. Even in death, the Chief and his Hand will serve nutrients for my pets." the Doctor says as he places a rat the size of a cat on the table. The rat heard the Doctor whistling and followed her commands. She then commands the rat to attack the two other members at the table.

He said. "Get her to the Alpha, maybe she'll get added to one of his collection." In that stead, May had been seperated from Martin, their gazes remain fixed on each other as words muttered with their stretching to eachother. "Well, I guess you're the only one that remains. The least I could do would be to tell you how you're going to die." He already had Martin strapped against the chair, and the cages lowered. For some undisclosed reason, they had brought the rats closer to the strap on. "Ah!... what the fuck is this you twisted psycho." Martin said, seemingly ready to let all hell loose if he didn't get any answers. "What are you doing with those rats?" He asked.

He asked softly, gazing into my big saucer eyes. "I'm feeling better now that the rats are gone from my body," I said, my voice breaking. Tears sprang to my eyes. "Where do the rodents come from? I saw them under the bed! There were so many of them that they formed this huge, gigantic black mass and attacked me at once. They scared me to death! I nearly died due to extreme fright!" I uttered in a trembling voice, tears rolling down my face in torrents. I swear, if I have a heart problem, I'm already dead from cardiac arrest.
