Chapter 133: Outsiders Starla Hawkins shifted her jaw in irritation as she pressed her lips into a grim line. The group of gentlemen, if you wanted to call them that, currently ensconced in the North Star's private party room was on her last mother-loving nerve. As the North Star's owner, she'd decided it was her position to 'take one for the team' and wait on the party herself. She'd rather do that than subject her staff to a rude bunch of businessmen from back east.

“These are for Paris.” I looked down at them. Then back at him. “Starling,” he said softly. “Why do you call me that?” He held my gaze. “A starling always finds its way home,” he said. “No matter how far it flies. No matter what it survives. No matter how lost it seems.” His voice lowered. “That’s you.” The corridor disappeared around us. “Every time the world tried to tell you that you didn’t belong somewhere…” he said, “you found your way back to yourself.”

Ouch! I’m not dreaming. Holy cow, I’m not dreaming! “You’re doing that thing again.” He says softly. “What thing?” I ask. He chuckles. “You make a face and you stare into the distance, like you’re in a movie or something.” He says. “Really?” I say. I can feel the embarrassment in my cheeks. They’re warming up. “Yes! Really!” Starling laughs and I join him. Wow, he said he loved me. “I thought you knew that I love you.” He says casually.

Stare at all the visitors who come. "Mr. Thunder." My gaze fixed on Mas Guntur who was very surprised to hear his name being called. He looked pale, staring at his surroundings in a daze. "Please ask Mr. Guntur to come on stage." Mas Guntur trembled to the stage. I smiled behind the mask. This is very interesting. This has to be the happiest moment of my life. I can finally avenge the pain I've received so far. "Sorry, ma'am. What did I do wrong? I don't feel like I did anything bad to this company. If so, I'm sorry, but don't lay off me, ma'am. Dianne warned Neil. Stella gave a faint smile and locked her gaze on Dianne. From the assistant's nervousness, to Dianne's strong opposition, and the warning, she was sure that that orphanage was hiding secrets. "Let's go, Neil," Stella walked ahead. Stella was a designer at Starlight Jewelry, and she was somewhat known in the industry. This morning, she overheard her colleagues gossiping about Ford Corporation calling to invite Starlight's designers for a discussion.
