Theo POV. Looking at the old courthouse, which is now the Hunter’s Headquarters. I smirk and Atticus becomes excited. He loves nothing more than sinking his fangs into those who have wronged us. “Let’s get this over with. What’s the plan?” Atticus growls out as it enraged him because of how these assholes hurt our Mia. “Oh, you know the usual: break them and then kill them. How does that sound?” I reply walking into the building.

Atticus is both confused and surprised at all the dead bodies he passes. “What the hell happened here,” He mumbles as he turns left down the next hall. Atticus follows the beacon of his people down the stairs. When he reaches the bottom, he looks right but doesn't feel them. He looks left and sees a short hall with a large steel door. He feels them—all of them—and they're on the other side of that door. Atticus approaches the door, places his hands on the door, and closes his eyes, feeling for them. Yes, they're definitely on the other side of this door.

Even the musicians have stopped playing. My eyes widen, and I start to ask her if she is alright, but Atticus grabs my chin, forcing my gaze back to him. “Do not play these games with me, dove. I don’t like them very much. There’s a maid for every act of defiance you put up, and from what I have seen, you’re the kind to care for their mortal lives.”

I shout. That got his attention; he halts, turns sharp on his heels, and gets in my face. He gets so close I back into a tree, "Do it then. You think I'm the monster who killed your parents. Reject me." "I-I know about Khione…." I watch as Atticus' eyes widen; he swallows hard, "Let me guess, Thane told you I killed her. Figures."
