Prince from the Other Side

Prince from the Other Side

That tense, capable body, lean with muscle and garlanded with a cascade of beautiful black and gray tattoos… A knock at my door: I jumped—I'd been miles away, skirting dangerous mental territory. "Coffee?" Toby stuck his head in the door, followed quickly by a steaming cup of coffee. "And maybe some fresh air? It's almost one in the afternoon and I don't think you've left this room." "Agh, you're a lifesaver," I sighed, reaching out with two eager hands for the mug. "I've been buried in prep." "Yeah, ah, about that. There's a bit of a new development. Nothing to panic about!" Toby raised his hands to forestall the look of outright panic on my face. "But, ah…Sy Dage just cancelled the rest of

HIS TOY

HIS TOY

I waited. A few minutes passed and he was back to normal after splashing water on him occasionally. “You’re breathing again?” I asked, and he sensed the pity in my voice because he nodded. Wrong move. “Put him back in the glass,” I commanded, grinning sinisterly. “Please… no… not again, please!” He screamed as they dragged him back into the glass. “Just kill me already!” He muttered as the glass door shut. To avoid all the gore details, Alicio survived after the third round which was quite surprising. He wasn't weak anyways and I was getting bored.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Razor Crew's boss, Jimmy Cornell, looked at Andrew with mockery in his eyes. Toby, who had been standing next to Andrew, scurried over to Jimmy's side and said nervously, "Sir, this guy's really strong. You need to be careful." Jimmy said coldly, "Useless piece of trash. You've made the Razor Crew look like complete fools." Toby looked embarrassed. He thought to himself that running into a monster like Andrew, he was lucky just to get out alive. Who cared about embarrassing themselves?

Good introduction. It sounds as if Christina was forced to be cold & dump Andrew. Since after he left, we see that she was aware of her actions & didn’t simply, not care. The rest were quite the typical cliché in Chinese type of stories. I’ll be great if the 2 made amends, unlike the typical cliche

Taking Her Home

Taking Her Home

Domenico asked pulling Vincent from his thoughts. “Rebecca is my best friend so, I’m helping and Don’t forget that I was trained like the rest of you,” Tobin answers squaring his shoulders. He was not trained exactly like the others were. He had been trained. He could fight if he really had to and he knew how to fire a gun. He was really good at shooting actually. But, never the less, his job in the family didn’t require him to be able to defend himself everyday so, training was much more limited than the others.

One Summer, Two Affairs

Straightening her shoulders, she passed him a polite smile and responded, “Yes, I am Colleen. Who's asking?" He chuckled, noticing how defensive she immediately became. “Hol’ up. I’m not here to nobble you. You might want to ease on me a little.” He extended his arms. “My name is Tobias. Tobias McGrith. But you can call me Toby. Frankly speaking, do call me Toby. I have got a history of only hearing my full name called out when I commit a crime.” Colleen laughed, feeling at ease as she put her hand in his. “I am a participant of DESC and, by all indications, we are going to be project partners.”

Professional Trainer/Master/Daddy?

Professional Trainer/Master/Daddy?

Toby POV. I didn't like snitching on Miles, but he hurt me for real, it's not my fault is Nathalie wants kids. I don't want any, well and daddy never talked about it, it's rare for cgl to have kids. Kittens are something else, we go to heat but we don't get pregnant, when I hit twenty one, I'll get out of my headspace and do dirty things. I don't think about those, I know, well big Toby knows that he'll only go through those things once every year. But it's nothing for little Toby to care about, I'm always in my little space and I'm happy like that.

Blood and Betrayal

Blood and Betrayal

It didn’t fight the cliffside; it grew out of it, a transparent lung breathing in the salt air. I ran my hand along the railing—smooth, cool steel. There were no hidden compartments here. No biometric scanners disguised as brass plates. Everything was visible. Everything was open. “You’re doing that thing again,” a voice said from the doorway. I turned and smiled. Toby was leaning against the frame, a mug of coffee in each hand. He was broader now, his skin bronzed by years of working as a lead instructor at the coastal conservancy he’d helped found. The frantic, jagged energy of the boy who had climbed a mountain with a hunting knife had settled into a deep, quiet strength.

My Shattered World

My Shattered World

"I know all about you, Toby. He told me everything, right up to the day he came home to visit and our children were dead. The heating system had malfunctioned... they died of carbon monoxide poisoning. After that, he told me that he had lost heart. He was needed at Central Control too badly, and he felt like he'd failed me. He resented my infertility already, losing the kids was just one trauma too many. He went back... I saw him only one more time, when he came to do whatever it was he was sent to do, he never told me what that was. Then, he vanished." I dropped my head. "If you know everything... then you probably hate me, and you have every right. I killed your children." "No." I looked a

Waterfall Kisses

I had gone on enough boat outings to know how to help tie up, so I grabbed a rope and assisted. “I'm very sorry, sir, but there's a matter that needs your attention.” Toby fidgeted slightly, pulling at his dress collar. He was wearing dark blue suit slacks and I could see the matching suit jacket hanging off a bench. Unfortunately, I could also see a very large white bird poop squarely on the arm of the dark jacket. “What do you mean, Toby?” Leo asked, confused. “Is this about the new phone app?” “No, sir,” Toby said slowly. His brown eyes skittered over to me and then back to his boss. “It's about the other thing.”

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

We set aside a couple acres in our plan just for the panels. Javi kissed me back and I was dying for him to just take me right now. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and he just had on dark blue jeans, he was hot enough to bake some cookies on. He picked me up and twirled me around, making me giggle. “Yeah, yeah get a room,” Toby said. “You know that veterinarian that came out the other day is single and real sweet,” I said. “Oh, I saw her,” Toby said, smirking.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.
