Ternyata kebaikan David tadi siang hanya untuk menjadikan dirinya dan pegawainya sebagai kelinci percobaan. Rupanya dia mau membalas dendam, maki Griselle di dalam hati. "Melihat kamu kembali baik-baik saja, aku merasa sedikit tenang, artinya makananku masih layak untuk dimakan." David melanjutkan perkataannya masih dengan nada tenang, tanpa menyadari perubahan di wajah Griselle yang sudah menghitam. Wajah Griselle yang awalnya kelam, tiba-tiba berubah dengan cepat menjadi wajah penuh kelicikan.
