The hawk goes flying, its feathered body slamming into the balcony railing with a hard thud. Then it falls limply to the deck. The Moon Rabbit was only toying with that poor hawk, making it fly him up here so he could get to me. That hawk thought he was just getting a tasty snack, but he was never going to survive as soon as Coello saw some use in him.

The man in the driver's seat was smoking a cigarette. I'd seen that man before. Mom had traded Rebecca's bloodstones with him for money. It didn't take long for an older rabbit-woman to happily run up to the car. "Three bloodstones! Come on, pay up!" The man inspected the goods, then paid the rabbit-woman. He didn't get out of the car at all. Genevieve pulled me along and quietly climbed into the trunk of the car. The car started and slowly made its way down the hill.

It gets injected, and beside it is a big red button. We see a gloved finger press down on the button. For a while, nothing happens, and then suddenly, the rabbit begins to spasm, shake violently while screeching in absolute pain. Its eyes turn red, and blood trails out of its eyes, nostrils, and ear. It continues to shake and screech loudly until we begin to see bits of its body decaying, little by little, slowly, leaving the rabbit in agonizing pain. The once-white fur turns into black, brown, and green. The body continues to decay until there is nothing left but rot and dust.
