Tom said and extended his glass for a toast. Liam looked at the glass, then at Tom and made no move to raise his own drink. “No, Mr. Garner,” Liam stated. Tom's smile stopped, his brow furrowed slightly. “No? What do you mean, no? Tom questioned. “I mean no, there will be no more days of us working together. This is the first and last time we will ever meet,” Liam said firmly. Tom stared, genuinely surprised. “Don’t be ridiculous. We just pulled off a masterpiece! You're clearly talented. I tried to mitigate the meaning of my search. "You shouldn't dig too much in this subject," Tom stayed strict. "Oh come on! It's not that I will contact and question gang members! Or… Are you worried they would come to question me?" I chuckled marking the absurdity of that last part. The expression on Tom's face became even more serious than before, and lasted for a few seconds but then he sighed. "Ok. Show it to me." He stood up and walked to the salon, then sat at the table where I had my laptop. I followed him, turned on the computer, and sat next to him.
