Reborn to Win

Reborn to Win

On the edge of the desktop was a small doodle I had drawn earlier out of boredom, a simple butterfly. The lines were rough, but somehow stubborn. Sharon's gaze lingered on it. Her brows slowly drew together in confusion. "I feel like I've seen this butterfly somewhere before…" Her voice was soft, but Horace, standing right beside her, heard every word. His whole body stiffened. He followed her gaze, and when he saw the butterfly, a surge of panic seized him instantly. In his last life, it was this "fake" he had never taken seriously who eventually took everything from him, including Sharon.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Andrew grabbed Chantelle and said, "Let's go quickly—something must have happened at the palace!" Chantelle frowned. "That sound… it felt like an explosion." Andrew's tone turned serious. "It was an explosion, from high-grade explosives. Looks like Rafael, Stanley, and their crew are still down here causing chaos." Chantelle sighed. "It's such a shame. This tomb goes so deep underground—it would've been an incredible discovery. But now… it's just going to be senselessly destroyed." Andrew replied, "Holtrien has more tombs and buried secrets than we can count. Entire forgotten civilizations are hidden beneath centuries of dust. If you really care that much, maybe you'll dig them up someday."

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

The Cultivator's Revenge

The Cultivator's Revenge

“Zha’mar isn’t just ruins.” Rayden turned, waiting. “That place is known as the ‘Graveyard of Seekers,’” Orion continued, his eyes holding echoes of dangerous ancient tales. “Many enter, few return.” Rayden nodded, then left the frozen peaks behind, stepping into the vast stretch of the Echoing Sand Desert. The cold mountain winds slowly shifted into scorching waves of heat, like the breath of a giant beast. The world around him changed from a pure palette of white and blue to an endless sea of gold.

Mated to the Alpha CEO

Mated to the Alpha CEO

"But cornered things are dangerous. Desperate. It will throw everything it has at us." "I know." Lira glanced at the column behind her. "But we're not walking in alone." The desert appeared on the horizon as the sun began its descent — a vast expanse of red-gold sand that shimmered with heat despite the autumn chill. The Shifting Sands, the maps called them, a place where the wind never stopped and the dunes moved like living things. The Sunken Temple lay at their heart, a ruin from a civilization older than the Clans, buried and uncovered and buried again by the restless desert. The ward there was not a tree or a stone circle. It was the temple itself — a structure built to contain somethin

Queen of the Eternal Nile

Queen of the Eternal Nile

The lights flickered and the scarab pendant resting against my chest grew warm. Far beneath the endless desert… Inside a tomb untouched for three millennia… Something moved, not enough to awaken but enough… To remember her. —-----------------------------

EMPTY GRAVE.. the brother we buried

EMPTY GRAVE.. the brother we buried

He wanted to drive to the cemetery right now and dig until he knew for certain. Instead he stood there gripping the counter, breathing. His wife slept peacefully in the next room. The woman who had given him the first real peace he'd ever known. The same woman who might have emptied his brother's grave. Jose looked at his own reflection and felt something ugly shift in his chest. Part of him didn't care. Part of him just wanted to keep the life he'd built no matter what crawled out from under it. He deleted the messages. Then emptied the trash folder too.

Rebirth: A Life for a Life

Rebirth: A Life for a Life

"You're under a powerful curse. I can't lift it. You must find the person who cast it." With tears streaming down her cheeks, my best friend dropped to her knees, begging the nun for help. After pondering for a moment, the nun handed me a scroll of prayer. "This will buy you time, but the curse will eventually rebound onto the puppet. "However, your fates are intertwined now. If you died, she would die too; if she died, you'd be dragged down with her. "This isn't a long-term solution. You must find the person who placed the curse on you and have them lift it."

To the Bone

To the Bone

"Come meet the dead." "Charming," one of the strangers said, grinning crookedly. Nova gestured to them. "This is Wren and Milo. Wren's the one who looks like she could kill a man with her pinky. Milo's the one who'd help bury the body." Wren waved with two fingers, her nails black and sharp-looking. "Don’t believe everything she says. I’d use my whole hand." Milo, a boy with a mess of dark curls and a permanent half-smile, nodded. "I only help with bodies if snacks are involved."

Neon Desert

Neon Desert

Tarantino inserted his noise dampener ear plugs and ordered the tanks to open fire. Before him, the soldiers raised their weapons and took aim but their fingers were outside of the trigger guards yet. The armored columns opened fire simultaneously; the noise lost in the echoes of the desert. He watched as the rounds assailed the air and landed at the advancing ranks. Pillars of sand rose as the rounds hit or missed their targets. A domino effect of sporadic explosion could be seen far ahead, clearing out the first screen of attackers at the eastern part of the attacking theatre.

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

The cemetery held such a powerful mix of emotions—energy, sadness, and heaviness—that left me in awe. I moved the light over the area, revealing a towering tomb that dominated the back right corner. The moonlight cast eerie shadows, adding to the mystique. It was exactly where the star on the map had indicated. The name Gomez was carved into the highest point of the mausoleum in a font reminiscent of Old English. A small plaque on the side of the structure, covered in mineral buildup from years of weathering, displayed six names with middle initials.
