What the hell is wrong with me, I can't help but wonder at my reaction to the person who just entered. "Ah, Mr. Clearwater, how nice of you to join us today," Mr. Ramirez says as the intruder begins walking towards his seat. Instead of going to where he usually sits, I listen as his footsteps move in my direction, continuing towards me until he stops next to my desk. I hear what sounds like sniffing before he makes a deep, low noise—one that I've never heard from another person before. I'm almost positive that he growled, just before the word "Mate!" quietly hits my ears.

KANE

KANE

She had somehow managed to disappear into his closet and emerge wearing one of his white shirts. It reached halfway down her thighs. Her dried hair was pushed over one shoulder. Kane stopped. Mona glanced at him. Her eyes immediately brightened. "I'll call you later. Bye." She ended the call. Kane folded his arms. She pointed toward the kitchen. "Adam made ramen." Kane glanced over. Two bowls sat on the counter, steam curling into the air. Adam had added soft-boiled eggs, green onions, mushrooms, and slices of meat.

Rise Of The Hidden Heiress

Rise Of The Hidden Heiress

Then he flashes a warm, genuinely friendly smile my way. “Jess,” he calls, “Long time no see. So, you’re from Silver Valley? You never mentioned that.” I nod politely. Unlike many in Dominic’s circle, Tommy treated me with respect the very first day I met him. Even after being introduced to him and noticing that I’m an Omega, he never looked down on me for my perceived lower status. “Hello, Tommy, Long time no see,” I reply, deliberately ignoring Dominic’s burning gaze. Tommy glances at Allister, who is standing in front of me protectively.

Behind him followed his dad and a lady I didn’t recognise. “Leah, it’s great to see you. We are glad that you could make it today.” Jack offered me his hand. I shook his hand, “Thank you for the opportunity to interview for a position here.” “Leah, this is Julie Shepherd. Julie this is Leah.” Julie held her hand out, “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” “Likewise.” I shook her hand. “Thank you for bringing her up, Logan.” Julie smiled at him, there was something all too familiar about the smile.

Slim

It amazed me how someone as quiet and introverted as him could be so popular. At the moment, they were engrossed in a lively game of cards, shouting and making hand signals. Hayden's aunt, whom I recently learned was named Jada, approached me and handed me a bowl of what appeared to be soup. "It's Fish Broth," Zeek, who was standing next to me, informed. I nodded, peering into the bowl. "Look," Kai said, taking my spoon and stirring the contents. "It has yam, potatoes, macaroni, fish, ochroes, and eddoes." He explained, and I pursed my lips.

The Chosen One

The Chosen One

Tommy replied, stepping off the stool and following her to the table. Susie took a seat opposite her friend, leaving him to sit between them. "Hi," Tommy said to Casey, offering her his hand. "I'm Tommy." She took his hand gently, holding it for just a fraction longer than necessary, her hand warm in mine. "I'm Casey," she replied. "Thanks for the drink."

Dominic

Dominic

"I have packed Cesare's stuff, they are all in the kitchen but Cesare is already in bed for the night." I moved closer and threw my arms around her, she had been the best mother to Cesare for four years. When I released her, I took a step back and looked at Dominic, whose face had softened. "Mrs Palmove, this is Dominic, my husband. And Dominic, Mrs Palmove, Cesare's full-time mom." He extended his hand to her, she looked at it for a second. When she took it, I let out a sigh of relief. Mrs Palmove was a straightforward person. All my life I have known her, she either liked a person or did not. There were no grey areas about her.

Crimson Moon

She said, pointing to ash hair, reddish hair and brown hair. "Hi," I said, glaring at Tom. He must have been the wolf that wanted to eat me. "Hey," He said with an annoying smirk. I had to introduce us. "This is, Tia and Jereum." I said, pointing to them respectively. Tia smiled lightly and waved but Jereum had his hands in his jacket pocket, the same annoying smirk on his face. "Jereum?" Tom said, chuckling mockingly, "What kind of name is that?"

This was a great read! Worth every coin. I like that it's not full of fillers, and doesn't beat around the bush so much just to make it longer. Chapters are really long too which I absolutely livey! Good job to the author!

This was an amazing story! I wish there would’ve been a little more at the end, but otherwise I absolutely recommend reading this. Another great story to add to my favorites on here. I liked how it was a little different from most of the other mafia romance stories on here. Fantastic job author!

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

The combination exuded a sense of elegance and sophistication, reflecting the refined taste and grandeur of the Tommy family. I stepped off the bus, I was greeted by Tommy, the patriarch of the Tommy family, who was seated in a wheelchair. Despite his physical condition, his presence exuded authority and strength. A burly bouncer stood behind him, pushing the wheelchair as Tommy addressed me. "Welcome to Perlemo," he said warmly, his voice filled with a mix of kindness and power. Tommy acknowledged my growth, comparing it to that of my father. I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at being likened to my father, a man I greatly admired.
