Faces appeared in windows across every building, staring at him without blinking.
In Building 26, on the 15th floor, Tony narrowed his small eyes and fixed his gaze on the snowmobile. Half his face had been burned, and the scars made his expression even more vicious. He and a few of his men had barely escaped that night, but a lick of flame had seared half his cheek, leaving him like this.
"I cannot believe he has something like that," he muttered. "A machine that can run in deep snow. If we had that, we could go out and find real food. We would not have to choke down disgusting meat anymore."
