Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

I threw it open on the mattress, flipping through the heavy pages as fast as my fingers could move. Eileen ran into the room, panting slightly as she watched me. “Thalia, please talk to me. Is everything okay? What are you looking for?” A second later, the heavy oak door pushed open again, and Ragnar arrived. His face was etched with worry, his large frame filling the doorway. “Thalia, what's wrong? Why did you run off?” I didn't reply to either of them. My eyes were locked onto the binding of the book. Right where the dark magic chapter was supposed to be, a clean, sharp edge showed that a page had been violently torn out.

Alpha's Captive

Alpha's Captive

The heavy feeling on my forehead vanished and a harsh cry immediately echoed in my head. "Take it!" It was Candice's voice no doubt. I didn't know why I cared to listen but I did. I knew what she wanted me to do and my fingers got to work. While Satake hugged me tight, my fingers stumbled an open book by my side and I tore a generous amount of pages off. I then folded it and stuffed it under the duvet. It happened so fast, I wasn't even sure if it was of my will. I had no idea what was in the book, why I felt a magnetic pull towards it and, what I even needed it for. Satake broke the hug and stepped back to regard me.

Claimed By The Big Bad Alpha

Claimed By The Big Bad Alpha

My mind drifted, even though I didn’t want it to. Damian. I hated that I still thought about him. Hated that some part of me knew he wasn’t gone. And that he would come back. I shifted slightly, but Tristan’s arm stayed firm around me, holding me against him. Warm. Solid. Safe. But the safety felt temporal. My thoughts flashed to the book in the passageway—the one with the torn page. What had been on it? Why had it been ripped out? I know it isn't random tear. It felt… intentional. Like whatever had been on that page was so important. Something that I definitely need. Something that could explain what’s really going on.

Torn by Obsession

Torn by Obsession

Ancient scrolls, maps, and old tomes lay scattered across the stone, but it was the center of the room that caught Sophia’s attention. In the center of the vault stood a large stone pedestal, and on it was a thick, ancient book. The cover was carved with intricate symbols, and it radiated an energy that felt both familiar and terrifying. “I’ve seen this before,” she whispered, reaching out to touch the book. Rafael stepped closer, his body tense. “What is it?” Sophia’s fingers brushed against the cover. A faint hum echoed in the room, and the air around them seemed to shift. She could feel it—the connection to her bloodline, something deeper than she had ever imagined.

Taming His Alpha Brother

Taming His Alpha Brother

He really wanted to stop, but now that he had started it, Asher had to see it through. However, when he checked the diary again, the page he turned to was empty, and so were the remaining pages. Huh? What? Was that all...? Panic clawed up his chest, and he clumsily checked the pages again. It really was empty. Fuck!! He was about to throw it across the room when his eyes suddenly caught that jagged edge that only happens in a book when pages had been torn out. His stomach clenched as he counted the jagged edges. Twenty in total.

Torn by fate

Torn by fate

“He was—he was choking, like he was going to die!” Lucien calmly walked back to his chair and picked up his whiskey glass. “I believe I told you already, didn’t I?” He took a sip. Hazel’s gaze snapped to the glass in his hand. With just a glare, it shattered into pieces. Lucien sighed, glancing at the fresh cut on his hand. He watched as the wound slowly closed, his blood drying. “Shit. Chill, will you?” He shook his head, wiping his hand on his shirt. “This is the second time you’ve cut me with a damn glass. You’re a psycho.”

Kidnapped By The Ruthless Alpha Of North

Kidnapped By The Ruthless Alpha Of North

Grabbing the book out of my hold, she turned the page back and inspected it closely. A deep frown creased her forehead as she informed me, "Look, someone has torn the pages." Clearing my vision, I looked closely, I could see the leftover pages at the site of binding. Some entries were missing. Something happened after they got married and between my birth. Sophie placed her hand on mine, "I know you have many new questions now. But don’t worry, we’ll find another way to get the answers.” She squeezed gently, "At least, we got the answer we were looking for."

Just started reading this story and already can't stop reading. Very intriguing straight from the beginning and characters seem mysterious. Best thing? They are both enemiessss. Can't wait to read more of the enemies to lovers vibe.

MY TRIPLET HYBRID STEPBROTHERS WANT ME

MY TRIPLET HYBRID STEPBROTHERS WANT ME

The page he had opened was burnt off. “This is the second book with Odette that has a page missing just when it's about to become about her!” he declared, the tone of his voice increasing in irritation. My heart dropped to my stomach once more as I quickly flipped through the pages of the book in my hands. But just as Cassian had observed, the pages of the book with me were also burnt off at the page that was supposed to be about Odette… “No… No…” I mumbled as I quickly started flipping through the rest of the books.

Serena saw the tightness in his shoulders, the uncertainty in how the tips of his fingers moved across the spines of the books. Serena nodded, but the sentiment felt hollow. She was supposed to help. You were meant to be the one who knew it all. But instead, lost, a marionette skewered on her own strings. As Lucian and Elias began searching, Serena continued deeper into the library. The ink on some of the books were faded, and her fingertips scraped across the cracked pages of the ancient books. She opened to a page that had captivated her, and her heart raced as she read the first few aloud:

Answers. Crumbling low, my fingers rattled as I sifted through the broken wood and shredded rock. What were the hidden secrets concealed by Lyla, her innocent demeanor and memories? Which riddles were hidden in this destruction? I observed a metal glint beneath shattered beams with my eyes. Heart racing, I stooped it with precision, uncovering an aged leather-bound notebook. I recognized that it was her mother's possession even though the cover had cracks and undergone fading over time. My mother.
