Torn Pages Book Novels & Stories

I looked at the book and I saw a paper sticking out of it. "Open that page Grey." He saw what I was pointing at and there was a piece of paper sticking out of it. It was torn. "It's a torn page. I'm not surprised. The book is centuries old." I looked at the page and it hit me. "That page isn't from that book." Grey was surprised and watched me as I opened my bag and rummage through it. I pulled out the book he had given me and opened the page the was torn. I took the page from Grey and it perfectly lapsed with mine.

I just tried looking for paper in another book on the shelf but I couldn’t find anything except for one page of one book that had a lot of space that was less than half full of writing and behind it there was a whole space page. “No choice,” I whispered, then slowly tore the paper. “Patrice!” “Ah!” I quickly picked up the book that I had lost because of Shin’s sudden scream. I took a deep breath before looking at the book and wishing that the page of the book I tore had not been damaged. I counted up to three in my mind before opening my eyes and when I looked at the book, I relaxed and smiled when I saw that my face was still well, so I tore it completely.

I turned my head, knowing the sight would only break my heart further. A tearing sound could be heard throughout the hallway, followed by the light thumps of my book as it hit the floor in pieces. I couldn't help but look down at the book, the book that I had carried around for years. It was torn into five pieces, random pages and bits of cover were scattered along the floor.

Kael tore the book again and threw the pieces toward me. The pages scattered through the air before slowly drifting to the floor around my feet, some landing against my legs while others spread across the polished floor like fallen leaves. I stared at them without moving, my fingers hanging uselessly at my sides as my mind struggled to understand what he had just done. He had torn my drawing book. My drawings.

We had found it. I quickly turned the page. My breath caught. The next page was gone. I blinked my eyes rapidly. I thought I was seeing things for a moment. No… My fingers hurried to the following page. Gone. Both pages had been torn out. Not damaged by age. Not accidentally ripped. Someone had removed them. Deliberately. The jagged edges still clung to the binding where the missing pages had once been. “No…” I flipped farther ahead. The journal continued normally after the missing section. Only those two pages were gone.

I groaned; I wish Pru had been with me so she could figure it out. I slipped my hand into my back pocket and grabbed my phone. I snapped a couple of pictures of some of the pages to show Pru in hopes she could figure some of them out. I flipped through and found a page that had been torn halfway out of the book. I snapped a picture before closing the book and pushing it back on the shelf.
