Mated To My Captor

Mated To My Captor

"And you tell Dante the moment he has his phone back." "The moment," she says, and then her voice shifts, pulled slightly away from the phone, and I hear her chair creak again and then her fingers on the keyboard, fast, and then a pause and more typing, and I wait because I know that particular typing rhythm by now, it's the rhythm of something coming up on the screen that she didn't expect. "Hold on," she says. "What?" "I've been running a passive trace on Peterson's mobile since this morning, the number from his MediSupply employee file, and it just..." More typing. "It just returned a live location ping."

Betrayed by design

Betrayed by design

” You were expecting this conversation. “I was hoping for it,” he said and there was clear relief that felt like her choice actually mattered to him. “I didn’t want to push you toward it then you had to come to me because this isn’t my war and I can help you fight it but you have to be the one to decide it’s worth fighting for.” — He wrote two names on the page. Sloane leaned forward a little, reading them. “Petra is the private investigator,” she said. “She’s been working private cases for eleven years. She’s careful, fast and doesn’t share information she’s not paid to share.”

Third Eye P.I.

Third Eye P.I.

An hour was a long time to spend in a tiny store for nothing. A few minutes later, Tricia appeared from the house freshly showered, wearing jeans and a t-shirt. As though Tricia lived a secret life, she had completely erased the other persona and proceeded to pull more weeds from the flowerbed. Cassie shook her head in awe. Something happened in that pet store, she just knew it. No one puts that kind of effort into look sexy only to wash it all away a couple hours later. She called the office; Daniel picked up. "Tyler Investigations, how may I help you?" His accent made her swoon.

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

Josiah grimaces but the werebear keeps his mouth closed and eyeballs Travis. “Yes. Her,” He finally turns around. Dark angry eyes bore into me. I’ve never seen Travis this aggravated. As if he could explode at any moment. “I haven’t been able to get any answers from her. I need you to question her immediately.” “Who is she?” I curiously ask. Travis and Josiah share a look which only increases my curiosity. I’m taken aback by Travis’s one-word answer. “Petra.” he spits out between clenched teeth.

This is a wonderful story. This book could stand alone, but if you read all the books in this series, this book will open a beautiful world. Once you start to read you have trouble putting it down. Highly recommend as well as all the other books in the Delta’s Daughter Series.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Mistress on My Husband's Phone

Mistress on My Husband's Phone

Sarah hadn't replied to any of his messages since the afternoon. Troy was startled by a message from Joshua. [Sorry, Sir, Mrs. Peterson asked me to go home earlier. But because you asked me to wait for her, I returned to the hospital. However, she's no longer there. Her phone is off.] Troy panicked as he read the message. He quickly asked to leave the meeting. This time, Troy didn't care about the project. Seeing this, Erica smirked, feeling as though she had won against Sarah.

The Traitor's Daughter

The Traitor's Daughter

“She’s fine.” I nodded. “Let’s close the net.” The first two intruders were caught in a flash-cage on sublevel two, a timed trap Logan had coded to trigger the moment someone entered that hallway without proper ID tags. They dropped their weapons fast. One was a woman, mid-twenties, military cut hair and dead eyes. The other was older, bald, maybe late forties, carrying a comms disruptor. Professionals. But not the leader. Not the one coordinating this.

Throwing Away What He Had

Throwing Away What He Had

The restaurant was nearly empty, and we had just found a quiet corner when a voice rang out behind us, "What a coincidence! If it isn't my ex with the world's worst temper." That smug, mocking tone could only belong to Joshua Peterson—Tricia's recent ex-boyfriend. Tricia didn't even turn around. She simply rolled her eyes and snapped, "The temperamental woman in question is already seated. Could you be an eyesore somewhere else?" Joshua boldly squeezed in beside her and plopped down. I was used to the way they interacted by now. They couldn't speak to each other without sarcasm or barbs, just like a pair of true quarrelsome lovers.

Leaving Without a Trace

Leaving Without a Trace

When the call connected, it was the voice of Cameron Dunn, Isabel's first love, that I heard through the speaker. "Oh. You're back, Jeremy? Izzy is in the shower," Cameron said. Before I could say anything, I heard a click, and the door was unlocked from the inside. Cameron cheerfully ushered me in. "It's my fault, Jeremy. I kept forgetting the password because of my poor memory, so Izzy changed the password to my birthday. You don't know when that is, right? I'll write it down for you later," Cameron offered. He was wearing a new set of pajamas, and his hair was still damp.

Divorce Day: My Hidden 99 Lives Exposed

Divorce Day: My Hidden 99 Lives Exposed

She was the ultimate dream girl who would stay up all night playing video games with him, who would cry over the phone line when his stomach flared up, and who would leave sweet, breathy voice notes calling him "Tris" Meanwhile, I, Serena Hayes—the actual Ms. Pierce—had spent the last three years playing the role of a textbook stepford wife. I cooked on time, ironed his suits on schedule, and lay perfectly still in bed when the lights went out. Other than "Okay", "Got it", and "Get some sleep", I barely said another word to him. Tristan sighed and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window. From behind, he looked strangely lonely. "Serena, I tried," he said. "I really did. But every time I came h

THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET MISTRESS

THE BILLIONAIRE'S SECRET MISTRESS

She had the sleek appearance of the models that graced the face of the television screens. Whatever. She wasn't even in the mood to entertain any unnecessary visitors at the moment. After suffering two failures around the same time, she was exhausted in every way. All she wanted was a place to sit her butt down and strategies her next move. Detective Jackson Cooper started to explain who she was and what she was doing there but she'd barely heard a word he'd said. The lady moved to introduce herself to her while Detective Adams looked on passively. "Hello. I'm Emily Peterson." She smiled curtly. "I was a friend to the late Dre Sinclair. I understand that you arrested her boyfriend, Ronnie Ha
