The Poison of Regret
Andrew and Sally were the best parents in the world and had devoted everything to Dylan and Bernice.
Dylan still refused to believe it. He yelled, "Dad, Mom, stop playing around and come out!"
No matter how much he yelled, screamed, and struggled, the fact that his parents had passed away was undeniable. No one would be coming out of that room anymore.
A wave of panic consumed Dylan, and his eyes went red. He collapsed onto the floor, his expression one of unbearable pain.
I didn't feel a shred of sympathy as I watched the scene. I only felt a deep sense of satisfaction.
