“It’s time for us to have a good ‘talk,’ Ms. Darling.” Jessa slowly turned her head around. Her eyes were glazed with pain. “Yes, it’s time for us to talk.” There was a great crash as a black, armored vehicle mowed down the factory’s heavy steel door. Steel twisted. Dust billowed. Backlit by the blinding headlights of the armored vehicle, Adam stood in a black coat and led a team of elite soldiers. “Sorry I’m late, Jessa.” Adam went over to Jessa and covered her with his coat.

JENNA’S POV Alex stood before us, his formal ceremonial attire highlighting his powerful frame. The traditional blindfold that usually covered his sightless eyes was absent. His gaze, once empty, now held a startling clarity as he looked directly at me. "Jenna, you are breathtaking today." "You can see me?" I whispered in disbelief. "Release her, Carrick. What exactly are you attempting?" Alex's words came simultaneously with mine. Carrick looked between us in shocked confusion.

I declared, my voice a cold, unwavering command. The air crackled with tension as we circled each other, our blades gleaming in the dim light of the chamber. Damon POV “She’s out there again.” I didn’t even look up from my report. “Out where?” My beta, Caden, sounded bitter. Angry. “The training grounds. East clearing.” “She’s blind,” he added flatly. “But she’s out there, moving like she isn’t.” I set the report down. “And?” “She’s… fast. Too fast. You should see it for yourself.” That piqued my interest. I stood, stretching the stiffness out of my shoulders. “Fine. Let’s go.”

Iris said, and Roger nodded. “Now, Arman, Dominic, Stavros… I need to have a balance of all the armed forces available… We need to know the headcount and level of training. Teams and designated commanders for each group,” I said, and they nodded. “Just so you know, in my realm we have worked on a special armour…” Dominic surprised me, “It is light and quite effective, but it is bulletproof, leaving very few vulnerable spots for our guys to get hit with a bullet… in this case, the serum,” he informed me, and I smirked.

The ground was slick with blood, and the once-pristine white snow was stained crimson. Mac shifted, my paws sinking into the snow as I sprinted to the left, where Archer’s pack was struggling to hold their ground. Archer’s massive wolf, a dark and imposing creature, was locked in combat with a hybrid, but the creature was too fast, too strong. Archer’s wolf roared, but it was cut short as the hybrid lunged for his throat. His teeth sank into Archer’s shoulder, and the Alpha’s wolf bucked, throwing the creature off just in time to avoid a fatal blow.

His voice was terrifyingly calm. I looked at him. “You see a shot, you take it.” I swallowed and nodded. The dirt track narrowed even further. The cars were too big for it. Branches clawed at the windows, screeching across glass and paint. Dust filled the car until we were coughing, eyes watering. Richard’s car scraped a stone wall. Bricks tumbled down. Adam roared in triumph. “He’s stuck!” But he wasn’t. The armored car jolted forward, tires screaming, and found another path, a crumbling footpath barely wide enough for a donkey cart.

Hunter was roaring viciously and they had shifted back to their human forms. Happiness twinkled in her eyes upon seeing Hunter punching Armando ruthlessly as blood splurts out of his mouth.

He slows down the car making her sigh in relief. But, it is too late now and suddenly they see a big container coming towards them. Sook-Ja yelps loudly as she feels the car being hit and she closes her eyes tightly waiting for impact.

I looked up but my vision started to blur and the world suddenly started to darken. Opening my eyes, I find myself lying down in the darkness. I couldn't see anything as I tried opening my eyes. I could have used my nightvision but I feel my wolf is still passed out asleep. It must be the drugs, I thought to myself groaning. My head feels like it's been beaten to a pulp. The throbbing left a pounding feeling in my head and I couldn't shake it off.
