I went forward and placed the box on the reading table in my room, unable to get my eyes off the strangely wrapped box, pondering what Aleric put in it. What if it's not from him and is from someone else? I thought as I went to the box and started unwrapping it. I opened the box and saw a paper placed on it. I brought it out and read what was written on it. "Remember our agreement, Bumblebee?" I read the first line and I felt my heart drop into the pit of my stomach, realizing that it's not from anyone else but the Biker Devil himself! He's the only one who has ever referred to me with that name.

“That was so fucking sexy, Angel. If all of these people weren’t here, I’d be balls deep in you right now.” I looked him up and down before my eyes stopped on his shirt. Kimmy was a comedic genius. Alexi’s shirt had a bumblebee on it that was holding its arms up in an “I don’t know” pose. Underneath, “_______ to bee” was written. I bent over laughing, and tears ran down my face. “How is anything I just said funny to you?” His face showed that he was actually hurt by my reaction, so I knew I had to fix this, and quickly.

I was halfway through a scene where the fox was trying to steal honey from the bees when I looked down at Bella, checking to see if she was still listening or already drifting off.
