BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

BOUGHT BY CRUELEST ALPHA

"—THEY KNOW— Lily— the shard— find the OTHER— cage wasn’t built for ONE—" His voice fractures, overwhelmed by a sudden, localized wrongness beside us. The brick wall of the bank… ripples. Like disturbed water. A section about the size of a fist turns translucent, revealing not the bank’s interior, but a swirling vortex of impossible colours and jagged, broken light. Nestled within it, pulsing with malevolent energy, is a shard of dark glass. Corrupted. Twisted. The Mirror shard. "Key—" Kieran’s voice is a dying gasp. "…other shard… holds the key…"

Moaning For The Enemy: Her Sister's Betrothed Alpha

Moaning For The Enemy: Her Sister's Betrothed Alpha

The glass was reinforced, designed to withstand a tank shell, but it wasn't designed for a man who had nothing left to lose. I saw her. She was standing in the center of the room, looking like a broken angel in that thin white gown. She looked so small, so fragile, but when our eyes met through the glass, I saw it—the fire. The green was back, burning with a fierce, defiant light. I fired three rounds into the corner of the glass, the structural integrity shattering into a spiderweb of cracks. I slammed my shoulder into it, the glass exploding outward in a thousand glittering shards.

Monster Can Love Too

Monster Can Love Too

His heartbeat pulsed in his ears, every second stretching longer than it should. He leaned in, breath fogging the glass slightly. And there barely visible beneath the silvering of the mirror something glimmered. A small, circular distortion, right over his shoulder. It wasn’t dirt. It wasn’t a crack. It was a lens. Noa’s gasp filled the silence. “There’s another one” Before he could finish, Alessio’s fist went straight through the glass. The mirror shattered instantly, a loud, violent sound that sliced through the stillness. Shards rained to the floor like glittering rain, sharp edges catching the dim light.

The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

The Billionaire's Baby Bargain

She dropped the glass that contained one of the councilmen’ spit along with the cleaning products. We all take a moment to watch as her body folds over itself while she shrinks to her short statue, her once blond hair now fading to gray, her skin gaining a warmth that was lacking in Donovan and instead being replaced by her deep wrinkles. “Go!” I hear her shout and instantly I know this message is for me. “Seize them!” I think Delfino calls out, but my back is already turned and I race through the doors. I have to at least get outside before I transform so I can safely set down the only glass we have left.

I really liked the story but HATE the ending, too much left hanging. I don’t think this was a good ending to the book even if there is a sequel. So now I’ll wait for hopefully a next one so there’s closure to so many unresolved issues.

is this book finished? I am getting near the end and where I'm at, there is a lot to wrap up in just a few chapters. I think this is a great story line, it has me anxious to find out how it will all out

shattered vows

shattered vows

Note: The chapter contains mature content. Only mature audience shall view this chapter. Veda's tears fell like rain, her heart shattered into a million pieces as Adyant's words echoed in her mind: "Hate, disgust, and contempt. I feel them every time I see your face." She wandered aimlessly, lost in thought, until she found herself in the garden. The stars above twinkled like diamonds, but her world felt dark and empty. She was surrounded with peace and calm but only she knew the chaos which was pacing with high intensity inside her mind.

Alpha's Wildcard: Lunar Strike Mayhem

Alpha's Wildcard: Lunar Strike Mayhem

We returned to the room when the school authorities were invited and Cade, alongside some warriors, got on the roof where they took pictures of the doll and replaced the glass all together. “Toss it,” I heard someone say from behind and turned to see our Alpha. The glass window was flung towards the forest and it shattered on impact. Right before everyone's eyes a black must arose from the shattered glass and moved into the forest. “Someone is working overtime to ensure that this peace treaty doesn't work out,” the Alpha commented as we all bowed to greet him. “Aside from Anaya, has anyone else been hurt?” The alpha asked and we shook our heads no.

Unshatter Me

Unshatter Me

His eyes never left hers and neither did her eyes leave his. From where I was standing,I also noticed that the colour of their eyes were shifting Maybe I was wrong Maybe it wasn't what I thought it was Maybe I was being delusional Maybe this is a fucking nightmare and none of it was real But all it took was one word for me to feel shattered and broken beyond brink "MATE!" Author's note Not me taking my sweet time to update. Thank you for those who are reading this book voting and commenting. I love y'all

Shattered Hearts

Shattered Hearts

Fast-paced heavy metal-type chords thump my veins, the live sound of the music taking my breath away. My queue to come in is signaled by London who lets out a deep roar. Being a call-and-response song it was by far one of my favorites from Crash Course Rebellion and now I get to live it. I sing the melody, Jackie is in harmony and London's note is a growl. ~ "I can't fight it!" London and Jackie:"I can't fight it!" "There's a feeling deep inside when I look into the eyes of the monster!" "I see through it!" London and Jackie: "I see through the facade!"

Breed Me, My Boss Alpha

Breed Me, My Boss Alpha

She was smiling, her hands pressed against the glass. “You can’t destroy what’s already inside you,” she said softly. Alexander stepped forward. “Then we’ll find another way.” The reflection looked at him. “You think she’ll survive without me? You think she’s real without the part I hold?” I reached toward the glass, my fingers trembling. “What do you want from me?” “To stay,” she whispered. “To stop pretending you’re human.” “I’d rather die.” The glass cracked. The light turned red. A wave of heat surged through the room, and alarms started blaring from somewhere deep in the structure.
