She recognized me instantly. Her gaze swept from me to my wife—her gentle smile, her slightly rounded belly, and the way our hands were intertwined. And then she looked down at herself: a disfigured monster, neither human nor ghost. "Ah—!" A piercing scream ripped from her throat. She suddenly lurched up from the wheelchair and charged straight at us.

"A little dirt never hurt anyone. I've been eating like thissince I was a kid. I hardly ever got sick, not even a cold or a fever. I bet my little body is healthier than yours any day…” Damien glanced at Serena's figure and suddenly agreed with her statement. That night, Damien transformed into a hungry wolf and pounced on Serena. The night was filled with passion and excitement. The next morning, Serena felt something was off with her body. Last night's fun seemed to have taken a toll and she felt a bit feverish. Despite this, Serena insisted on going to work. Her colleagues noticed her flushed face and couldn't help but ask, "What's up with you, Serena? Why is your face so red?"

Every nerve in my body screamed no. “Don’t.....” I rasped, but my voice broke halfway. Lucien shoved the needle into Zane’s throat. The plunger hissed. The venom surged into him with a cruel hiss of steam.

He jumped, catching it mid-air, and devoured it within seconds. “Tell me how to get his venom,” I said, my fists clenched in determination. “He’s frightened. It might be easier for you to do it,” Viviana said, her voice filled with worry. “It’s his first ever complete transformation. I wonder how he managed to hold on until now. He must be very powerful.”

Her body went rigid, every muscle locked in agony as the Alpha venom flooded her system. Eve lurched forward but Silas caught her. "Let it happen," he said quietly. "This is necessary. She has to go through it." Damian held the bite for what felt like an eternity but was probably only seconds. When he finally released Maya, she collapsed forward onto her hands, gasping and shaking. The bite mark on her shoulder glowed, actually glowed, silver light pulsing with her heartbeat. "It's done," Damian said, wiping blood from his mouth. "The transformation has begun."

"Why are you laughing?" "Humans call it venom, not neutralizer. Why am I only now realizing how stupid it is to call it venom?" Gosh, I'm so glad I got out of Mortal Grounds as soon as possible. "Venom is deadly. We wouldn't inject something harmful into your body. Humans are something else. No offense." Tae mumbles his last sentence. "Yeah, no kidding. Thankfully, you won't get poisoned tonight. Only neutralized while your body changes." Val added.

"But why does he need me? He's a shape shifter! Why doesn't he just use his own blood?" Verus shook his head. "He's tried, but it's not working. See, when he was turned into a vampire, his creator gave him his blood, and then bit him, turning him into a shape shifter vampire. He's not sure if it was the venom or the blood that turned him into a shape shifter." "Rick ..." I said, as something suddenly occurred to me. "You don't think he's been experimenting with Rick, do you? Using his venom? Because he turned me?"

The transformation called for her to be sick as the venom would try to take over, but her body would try to fight it off like any other disease. “Yes. Can you let me go now so I can return back home and-” Tammy was cut off as he bit down onto her left shoulder instead of on her neck. Tammy cried out in pain, and saw images she didn’t understand. A woman with two different shades of eye color… a big man wearing a suit looking disturbed… two crying infants, and then toddlers chasing each other…

But when the cobra attacks her someone pulls her away avoiding the cobra. She looks at the one who is holding her and she finds out that it was Vlahdy nor Zeal. And when the cobra tries to attack them again. Vlahdy suddenly turns into a vampire form and kills the cobra in just a second. Waylan keeps looking at Zeal in vampire form and in just a second he turns again into a human. Waylan let her tears fall as he got near Zeal and hugged her right. "I'm right, I know from the first sight meeting you at the bookstore that you are Zeal," cried Waylan.

Seeing her children grow up healthily with the threat of death could haunt them. One time, in the middle of the night after coming back to normal from being a beast, Venus came into their basement. That old house has become a mansion. Kira and Loki created a basement specifically for their transformation every midnight. Venus came only to wake up Mune and Amaya. She smiles as she sees the savior grow up fine as wine. "Who are you?" asks Amaya and Mune in chorus. Venus then explained they're bound to experience. One of them will experience it, and one of them will get freed. Venus wasn't still sure who was who so she just decided to tell them both.
