I knew that voice. Damian. Except… not really. He wasn’t even here. I was just imagining how he’d react if he knew where I was, if he knew what I was planning. This was like a dream vacation, even if it wasn’t real-real. Traveling the world, working on art with someone who actually mattered. Someone who looked like he could pin me against a jet wall and call it team-building. “As a married woman, did I need permission to travel for work?” I muttered under my breath. She stared at the far wall, trying to end the conversation before it started so she could leave. “So, I have been busy a lot recently. And with the accident of you fainting... I was thinking we could just travel somewhere warm and tropical. Just the two of us. Like when we traveled to Milan,” he said. He reached for her hand, his fingers grazing hers, but she pulled back out of his grasp as if his skin were made of fire. “I am not feeling good. I want to rest,” she retorted, her voice hard. “You can go with whoever you like. Take Sophia.”

Fire sir covered his face and said, “I just can’t talk to her! You know! It’s like someone puts a tongue tied curse on me every time I open my mouth in front of her. All I can do is point and grunt.” Jyotsna moved closer and patted his enormous hand. “We will help you” “Yeah!” said Anwar punching the air. “Fire sir looked up at them. “Thank you”, he said tersely, “Thank you. If it wasn’t for her I would never have returned to this cursed village. She means everything to me and she probably doesn’t even know!” In the next ten minutes, Jyotsna had prepared a plan for Fire sir to be charming and glamourous. Anwar bobbed up and down the cabin taking down notes and being Jyotsna’s assistant.

I had to admit, from what I saw since I got here, Ty was actually really good. "Aahh, but I'm not nearly as good as you bro" Ty dismissed casually. "I'm glad you're back where you belong with your Luna" He smiled at me, which I returned brightly.
