She pushed the car door open, ready to get out. Benjamin grabbed her and protested, "What about Xander? Compared to me, he's even more pretentious." Grace tried to shake him off when he mentioned Xander. "You have no right to bring him up." Benjamin held her tightly and uttered, "He has traveled back and forth abroad multiple times, but not for business. He's injured every time. Did you know about that? Is he honest with you? Isn't he pretentious?" He seemed so sure that Grace didn't know about it. Grace found it absurd.

Travis and Lamia had a connection and despite the troubles Travis had with his wolf, which was making more and more sense to me now I knew his wolf, Janus, was the god of doors and passages – the gatekeeper to other realms. Birdie tipped to the side and began to descend. Closing in on the base of a tall mountain that was topped with snow. The peak was barely visible under a haze of misty clouds. Soon enough Xander landed the flying contraption. “This is where I leave you!” Xander shouts over the whirls of the blades. He points towards two massive trees that look out of place, “Head in that direction, follow the path and you should be met by a sentry for Mount Xenia.”

“And how exactly do you plan to change your wolf rank?” I froze, unable to answer, I couldn't tell him about my root, my father, the birthmark. I couldn't trust him yet with my truth. My hands twisted in my lap, desperate to escape the question. So I deflected, forcing a smile. “You know, I barely know anything about you. Aside from your name. Who are you really, Xavier?” He leaned back slightly, a smile tugging at his lips, though his eyes still held that shadow of mystery. “I’m just a traveler. From a faraway pack. I wanted to see the world, so I left.”

Felix called out as he approached. The man, a middle-aged traveler with a rugged but honest face, froze. Sensing that Felix was far stronger than him, he quickly stopped and bowed respectfully, silently praying that Felix was not a violent man. "Relax. Do you have a phone?" Felix asked calmly. The traveler was only at the Pulse Realm. Felix was shocked that someone with such a low level dared to roam outside the city alone. Meanwhile, the traveler quickly nodded and pulled out his phone. "Yes, of course. Here you go, sir."

Susan chimes in and interrupts the moment. "He had to travel. Remember, more contracts, more money." Ketty snaps her fingers. --- Few hours later, Xander arrives at the airport and boards his flight to City D, feeling a sense of sadness and longing for Susan. He wishes she can be with him on this trip, but he knows it wasn't possible. As he settles into his seat on the plane, he tries to distract himself by reading a book, but his mind keeps wandering back to Susan. He wishes he can call her and tell her how much he misses her, but it isn't the right time. Instead, he focuses on the task at hand and tries to prepare himself mentally for the launch.

Only a valuable person deserves people around him. Andrea cackled, not feeling any ounce of guilt. “I bet you get the message.” “You really should have your head checked. You are losing it.” Asher grumbled, caressing the computer like it belonged to a part of his body. She tilted her head to the side when her eyes caught the image on the screen. She stood up to check it correctly, and a loud gasp escaped her lips. “Xander is the owner of X&J?!” Asher raised his brow. “You know him?”

The journey to Xander’s country house was quite arduous, as we did not take any breaks during the nights. Instead, we relied on the coachmen to switch shifts so that they could rest between driving. We were traveling in two carriages: one for Xander, Leo, and me, and the other for the staff that accompanied us. The latter carriage was larger than ours, which allowed for their comfort and the rotation of coachmen.

He walked towards the Alpha, Xander. "You must be travelers since you don't smell like rogues. I'm Alpha Cole St Collins of the St Collins pack, can someone please tell me what the hell happened here?" Xander squared his shoulder. He is the same height with Cole 5.8ft. He walked towards him cautiously. "Alpha Cole, I am Xander Valsher , son of Alpha Mathew Valsher from Valsher pack in Arkansas this here are my pack mates. My mate Lydia, my brother Thomas and my sister Melissa, my friends Adrian and Carl.

He didn't bother looking up, instead, let out a faint smirk as he pressed another carefully folded shirt into the already stuffed suitcase. “Xavier!” I uttered his name. “There is no wrong way to fold clothes.” He replied to me calmly. “This is like you're trying to squeeze your entire life into one suitcase.” I shot back at him without hesitation. This finally made him glance up, his brows lifting slightly. “Relax.” He said lightly. “I'm not leaving the planet, I'm only traveling to Georgia.” “By road.” I reminded him firmly. “Yes, by road.” He repeated, shaking his head in a nod.
