It was the sort of place with warm wood shelves, overpriced pastries, too many plants, and the comforting smell of paper and coffee. Taylor sat two tables away in regular civilian clothes instead of his usual suit, though the alertness in the set of his shoulders made him impossible to mistake for an ordinary customer.

Over the weekend, Trevis and I visited the mall and bought a stack of books, "Spoiling My Beloved Wife", "The Intimate Moments with My Boss", " Mr. Billionaire, Don’t Run Away" ...and many more. Trevis looked a bit awkward at the checkout counter, with the cashier, a young lady, repeatedly stealing glances at him. I stood behind him, wearing a big smile. But when I went into the bedroom she was sitting on the bed reading one of those ancient books that she had found lying around the castle. So I went to have a shower and when I came out of the bathroom wearing only a towel, Taylor put the book away and she got off the bed and walked over to me. She really didn't need to say how she was feeling right now. I could feel all of her emotions wrapped up in a neat little package.

I had a really good laugh when I saw a comment asking about him and how it’s unfair for him to have two failed happy endings. Before that comment, I already planned Travis’ story. His story has been on my mind ever since I knew he would fall in love with Beverly and lose her tragically. I never planned it from the very beginning of the book but it gets me excited now!
