My hands began to tremble. "What... what are you doing?" I could hardly control the horror in my voice. My heart pounded like it wanted to escape my chest. She’s not her. She’s not her. She’s long dead. I kept repeating that in my head. This is Juliette, the same girl I used to abuse she has no power over me but why is my whole body trembling? "I don't know. What did you do? Jupiter walks over to Jasper. “I have missed you, old friend.” He says as he presses his forehead to Jupiter’s. A tear escapes his eye, and he rubs it into her fur. “He’s happy we’re home,” Jupiter informs me. But I already knew.
