I shouted, my voice breaking as I took another step back, my entire body trembling. I turned and stumbled back to the room I’d woken up in earlier, slamming the door shut behind me. The second I was alone, I slid down to the floor, my body shaking uncontrollably. The fear, the anger, the confusion—it all crashed over me, and I buried my face in my hands, trying to hold back the tears but no matter how hard I tried, my body continued to tremble, the fear and anger mixing into a suffocating weight that pressed down on my chest.

Tremors wracked his entire body, and he fought to remain upright as waves of anguish crashed over him. Ederic's surroundings seemed to fade away, his senses dulled by the overwhelming grief. I can’t fall asleep. If I fall asleep… I won’t wake up again. My body trembles weakly as darkness creeps along the edges of my vision. My breathing becomes uneven, my chest tightening painfully. Stay awake and alive. My lips part slowly. At first nothing comes out, then a faint sound escapes me.

As I lay there on his couch I fall into a restless sleep hoping that things will be better in the morning. As I awake in the morning I jerk out of my sleep with my heart racing. Trying to calm myself I take a few deep breaths as the tremors from the nightmare I had slowly go away. opening my eyes however is a different story. Here I am still stuck in the nightmare. It wasn't a dream at all.

I pushed with everything I had, but he didn't even stumble. I realized I wasn't strong anymore. The sickness had eaten me alive. My hands started to shake. Violent, uncontrollable tremors started in my fingers and traveled up my arms. I felt like I was suffocating. The room was spinning. His scent was everywhere, choking me, making me want to vomit. I pointed a shaking finger at his face. I couldn't even keep it steady. "Don't you dare," I wheezed, tears blurring my vision. "Don't you dare touch me after what you did."

The emotional stair of today it’s all crashing together, pushing my wolf closer to the surface. Another surge of pain ripples through me, this time spreading down my arms. My hands start to shake. I stare at them in horror as my fingers tremble, nails darkening, lengthening before my eyes. My pulse roars in my ears. I stumble into the bathroom and lock the door behind me. My wolf is waking up.

So terrified that the thought, in itself, caused my hands to tremble and my phone to drop onto the duvet covered bed. I had to call myself by forcing myself to take deep breaths and exhale them slowly; a process that I did continually until I was feeling much improved and my hands had stopped their trembling. I put on my phone once more to check what the time was and when I saw that it read '9:24am', I knew that I'd had enough of idling around and I had to start my day as soon as possible.

My body begins to tremble uncontrollably. Oh goddess, if this is a dream, please wake me up now…
