I had already found those werewolves in the party but I was not sure whether they were here just for the reason of having fun or had any hideous plan. I was surprised when I found that the birthday girl was herself a werewolf. I was sure she would have sensed my wolf as well. “Happy Birthday, Aurora.”, Lily wished her and handed over a small gift to her.

Second, a werewolf's bite is a fate worse than death. Avoid it at all costs. Third, steer clear of werewolves during the full moon. If you witness a werewolf shifting, your only option is to run. Lastly, silver and Wolfsbane are your best allies against werewolves."

That’s when I was three miles deep in the trees with my teeth in a walking corpse’s spine. The whole pack was focused on me. Every wolf I have that wasn’t sleeping at that hour was running to me. Every nose, pointed one way. And while we were all looking at the rotten thing somebody reanimated and let loose, somebody else walked off with a kid from the other side of town. The golden pup’s fur began to crack with glowing lines, radiating a blinding light that made it impossible for anyone to keep their eyes open. “A true Golden Werewolf! I can’t see!” “It’s coming! It’s coming!” Everyone craned their necks and kept their eyes wide, trying desperately to catch a glimpse. Damian laughed loudly. “A Divine Werewolf descends! All shall bow before me! I am the King of the Werewolf Alliance!” As the light began to dim, the pup’s form started to shift. The crowd held its breath. “What is that?” “A black werewolf?” At the very moment everyone expected glory, the golden pup transformed into a grotesque, malformed Omega Black Werewolf.
